A pet also helps its owner to fight against loneliness, anxiety and symptoms of PTSD, the CDC claims.

However, the top US health agency warns children below 5 and those over 65&nbsp;are&nbsp;likely to get diseases spread by their animals with even pregnant women at risk.

A mountain gorilla died in the arms of his caretaker in the Democratic Republic of Congo as the park officials released the emotional picture.

The orphaned gorilla named Ndakasi was found by rangers in 2007 after her mother was reportedly killed by militias. The struggling infant at the time was rescued by the rangers and later sent to a shelter&nbsp;where her caretaker Andre Bauma took her.

Ndakasi slowly recovered as Bauma, 49, took care of her. However, she wasn't returned to the wild reportedly due to the traumatic events she had witnessed as an infant.

Bauma who was tormented at losing his favourite friend said, "It was a privilege to support and care for such a loving creature, especially knowing the trauma Ndakasi suffered."

After sliding and fracturing her elbow on their state-of-the-art "twinkling dancefloor" in September 2018, the special needs teacher is now suing the reception business for £150,000.

The special-needs teacher, Mrs. Donovan, had been badly fractured, and she was in excruciating pain in her arm.&nbsp;

Cara's arm says she's still in pain after three operations, and she hasn't been able to return to teaching.

According to documents submitted before the High Court, the providers of the high-tech dancefloor informed Country House Weddings Ltd, which runs Leez Priory, that it would be a slip hazard if beverages were poured on it.

However, according to Cara's attorneys, nothing was done to prohibit guests from drinking and dancing on the dancefloor, and the company's advertisements even included images of people drinking and dancing.

The participants during the study were divided among young,&nbsp;midlife and older population.

The research revealed that those who suffered from depression, anxiety and stress also had poor mental health while explaining that depression increased dementia risk. The research found those who suffered depressive symptoms their cognition declined at a faster rate.

Jens Haaning was commissioned by the Kunsten Museum of Modern Art to reproduce two of his 2010 pieces, each of which portrayed the average income of Austrian and Danish inhabitants.

Lasse Andersson, the museum's director, told CBS News that in addition to personal pay, Haaning was given money for use in the artwork.

The originals were fashioned from Danish krone and euro banknotes that were on display.

They were arranged in a frame to reflect the average annual income of Danes and Austrians, which totaled roughly $84,000.

The study was based on a survey of 57 young individuals aged 18 to 25 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and was published in the journal Drug and Alcohol Dependence.

The subjects said they used cannabis at least twice a week, and the researchers examined data from their phones to determine if that was enough to figure out when they used it.&nbsp;

“A smartphone sensor, much like what is used in GPS systems, might be a way to determine whether or not someone is intoxicated after consuming marijuana,” notes a study write-up posted on Rutgers Today.

In order to detect intoxication, the accelerometer - the phone's motion sensor – and GPS data were crucial.

The study was able to correctly identify 60 percent of the 451 cannabis usage episodes using only time factors such as day of the week and time of day.

When time features and smartphone sensor data were included in the analysis, the accuracy increased to 90%.&nbsp;

Intoxication with cannabis has been linked to decreased response times, which can influence performance at work or school, as well as altering driving behaviour, which can lead to injuries or fatalities.

Existing screening methods, such as blood, urine, and saliva tests, have limitations as indications of cannabis intoxication and impairment in daily life.
