<p>NYPD later took to Twitter to write - “Times Square was buzzing today! @NYPDBees was called in to safely remove 2,000 bees from a restaurant seating area near the crossroads of the world. The 🐝 will now be relocated to an area where their pollenating skills will be put to good use.”</p>

<p>Phani Kumar, a man in India's Hyderabad, decided to do just that. Sai Vaishnavi, his sister was getting married. The family had suffered from the lost of her father who passed away last year. Phani Kumar had his father Avula Subramanayam's life-size statue made. The statue, when brought at the wedding venue, was a pleasant surprise for everyonw. The wax statue meant that it had very very cloase resemblance to the bride's father.</p>

<p>Emotions took over Vaishnavi and her mother. Both of them along with their relatives cried as they hugged the statue. Phani Kumar has uploaded a video on Youtube. Watch the video below.</p>

<p>A 17-year-old Chinese crested called Mr Happy Face, who participated in the World's Ugliest Dog Contest, has been crowned the world's homeliest pooch in an event held annually in California.</p>

<p>Jeneda Benally, a 41-year-old musician from Arizona had adopted the dog, with a tuft of punk-style hair and a tongue sticking perennially out the side of his mouth, as a rescue last year.</p>

<p>While introducing the dog during the contest, Benally said ''I had hoped to either have a baby or adopt a dog. Since having a baby would have been an act of God, I opted to adopt a dog.''</p>

<p>But instead of buying a dog, she wanted to adopt one and so went to a shelter where she was told about an older dog with health problems.</p>

<p>The proud owner said that although Mr. Happy Face had previously lived with a person for several years vets said that with his poor health the dog might only live a few weeks.</p>

<p>Calling the dog a survivor of abuse and neglect, Benally said Mr. Happy Face was resilient and ''kindness has helped him defy the anticipated short life that we all expected him to have with our family.''</p>

<p>"His hobbies include sleeping, snoring, woofing in his sleep and making odd sounds when he is happy," she added.</p>

<p>"Dogs of all breeds and sizes have warmed our hearts and filled our lives with unconditional love. This world-renowned event celebrates the imperfections that make all dogs special and unique," the organisers said about the contest.</p>

<p>There were two more items which were sold at the auction along with the dolls – a Victorian doll's house for around £15,000 and a teddy bear collection for £27,000, the BBC reported.</p>

<p>A man from Hawaii, who lost both an arm and a leg during a car accident, has set the Guinness World Record for completing the first solo voyage around the world.</p>

<p>Dustin Reynolds, who is also known as the "Single-Handed Sailor," made history after finishing his seven-year sailing journey across the globe.</p>

<p>After his car accident, Reynolds became a double amputee and went bankrupt but he still owned an old fishing boat.&nbsp;</p>

<p>What she has tweeted is a picture of a small, furry dog. We may take the dog to be just another 'cute' picture doing rounds on social media if not for the emotion of utter devastation in his eyes. The dog is surrounded by rubble of what must have been a house. To be specific, it is his departed owner's house. The recent earthquake sadly killed all members of the family of his owner. They are long gone but the dog is not ready to accept this.</p>

<p>According to Samira, the dog comes to the destroyed house everyday and cries because it can't see the familiar faces which, till last week, smiled warmly at him. The dog is now being taken care of by neighbours of the departed family. But the loyal dog still searches the rubble, clinging on the hope that he'll see his loved ones anytime. This sadly will never happen.</p>

<p>Canadian gold miners have found the remains of a rare mummified baby woolly mammoth that froze over 30,000 years ago in the Klondike gold fields.</p>

<p>According to a news release from the Yukon government and Tr'ondek Hwech'in First Nation, miners were working on the Eureka Creek when they made the discovery.</p>

<p>The mammoth calf, which is the most complete mummified mammoth found in North America, has been named Nun cho ga by the Trʼondëk Hwëchʼin Elders.</p>

<p>Nun cho ga, which means "big baby animal" in the Hän language, likely roamed the Yukon with wild horses, cave lions, and giant steppe bison.</p>

<p>''Without strong partnerships between placer miners, Trʼondëk Hwëchʼin, and the Yukon government, discoveries like this could not happen,'' Pillai added.</p>

<p>''This is as a remarkable recovery for our First Nation, and we look forward to collaborating with the Yukon government on the next steps in the process for moving forward with these remains in a way that honours our traditions, culture, and laws,'' said Tr'ondëk Hwëch'in Chief Roberta Joseph.</p>

<p>The instantly-recognisable triangular chocolate, established in 1908 in the Tobler family factory, is currently produced exclusively in Bern.</p>

<p>By the end of 2023, Toblerone will open a new production line in Slovakia, where it also produces Milka and Suchard chocolates, according to US food giant Mondelez International, the brand's owner.</p>

<p>Mondelez International told AFP that "Bern is an important part of our history and will continue to be so in the future."</p>

<p>The remains of a pregnant tortoise that sought shelter in the wreckage of a house devastated by an earthquake in AD62 have been found by archaeologists in Pompeii. However, when Mount Vesuvius erupted, the tortoise was smothered by volcanic ash and debris.</p>

<p>The 14cm (5.5in) long Hermann's tortoise and her egg were found during excavations of a section of the historic city that was being reconstructed for the installation of public baths after being levelled by the earthquake, officials said on Friday. After the volcanic explosion in AD79, Pompeii was subsequently devastated.</p>

<p>The tortoise, which belongs to a species that is prevalent in southern Europe, is thought by archaeologists to have taken refuge under the ruins of a house that was too badly damaged by the earthquake to be rebuilt.</p>

<p>The airline shared a video of the proposal on social media which showed Rojas proposing over the telecom system in both English and Spanish. Rojas went down to her knee to propose to Moncayo and as she said yes, the other crew members as well as the passengers broke out in applause.</p>

<p>“I’ve always appreciated Alaska; how deeply involved they are in the LGBTQ+ community,” Rojas said. “All the love and support are just super overwhelming and amazing,” she added.</p>

<p>According to a statement from Alaska Airlines, Moncayo had similar plans when the flight landed. She was in talks with the airlines about proposing to Rojas at the end of the flight but with Rojas asking the question mid-air, the couple celebrated the moment when the flight landed.</p>

<p>“An autopsy will be carried out on the animal by a veterinarian specialised in the species”, the State of Mexico added.</p>

<p>Drug cartels are a major issue in Mexico. Members of these cartels are often well-armed smugglers. These cartels even have political and financial influence. Police in Mexico face huge challenges while trying to control the drugs trade.</p>

<p>In the encounter that took place on Mexico, it is being reported that members of Familia Michoacana cartel were involved. In addition to the monkey, 11 gang members were dead, several sustained injuries. Seven were arrested.</p>
