In less than two years after I was asked set aside my broadcast career, leave everything else and join the team, I suddenly found myself out for no reason. He further asserted, "Virat was reeling from that tour of England (where he amassed 134 runs in 5 Tests in England) because he hardly got runs. "I began watching him very closely. The more closely I saw him, I could see his sense of confidence returning back with each day. "But still if this can happen then what will others have to do to avoid a situation like this? What example are you setting for the youngsters? BCCI chief Sourav Ganguly finally reacted to big development and broke his silence on Kohli being replaced by Hitman. “It's a call that the BCCI and the selectors took together,” Ganguly told ANI.&nbsp;

"Actually, the BCCI had requested Virat to not step down as the T20I skipper but obviously, he did not agree. And the selectors then did not feel it right to have two different captains for two white-ball formats. So it was decided that Virat will continue as Test captain and Rohit will take over as the white-ball captain.
