Dressed in a red asymmetrical short dress, Alia was looking adorable. Ranbir, as usual, was looking dapper in a beige colour jacket, a black shirt, and blue denim. The couple, who tied the knot in April, posed for paparazzi as they stepped outside their car. Releasing the latest instalment on Christmas eve, Substack writer Matt Taibbi claims that it goes beyond the FBI which was acting as the "doorman to a vast programme of social media surveillance and censorship, encompassing agencies across the federal government – from the State Department to the Pentagon to the CIA.

Twitter Files 9.0 reveals a web of ‘social media surveillance, censorship’ by not just FBI, other agencies too

After a lot of backlashes, the UK tabloid The Sun finally took down its highly objectionable article on Meghan Markle, and issued an apology for the same. Hours later, a representative of Harry and Meghan reacted to The Sun's apology and labelled it as a "PR stunt".

A few days back, 'Top Gear' host Jeremy Clarkson wrote an opinion piece on Meghan, which has caused an uproar across social media.

In the article, Jeremy wrote that he hates the Duchess of Sussex "on a cellular level" and that he was "dreaming of the day when she is made to parade naked through the streets of every town in Britain while the crowds chant, Shame! and throw lumps of excrement at her."

Reacting to the article and apology, Meghan's representative said: "The fact that The Sun has not contacted The Duchess of Sussex to apologise shows their intent. This is nothing more than a PR stunt."

"While the public absolutely deserves the publication's regrets for their dangerous comments, we wouldn't be in this situation if The Sun did not continue to profit off of and exploit hate, violence and misogyny.

"A true apology would be a shift in their coverage and ethical standards for all. Unfortunately, we're not holding our breath."

After the huge backlash, The Sun removed the article from the website and from its archives.
Overrated and exaggerated! Netizens are not happy with Rishab Shetty's 'Kantara'

The most joyous time of the year Christmas is here. People from around the world have gotten into the spirit of the festival and are celebrating it in their own way. For some, Christmas means cooking mouthwatering delicacies and eating them with their close ones, while for others, it's the time to travel and explore new places.

The festival of joy and togetherness is celebrated in a variety of ways. Traditions and customs vary from country to country, and if we dig a little, we will come across a variety of new customs that people are abiding by for generations.

Recently, we came across the countries and places where people celebrate this festival in the weirdest and most strange way you can even think of—from decorating Christmas trees with spiderwebs to hiding the brooms to keep them safe from the withes.

Here we have compiled some weird Christmas traditions from around the world.

We have only seen witches with big noses while watching cartoons. But do witches exist in real life? I would say ask a Norwegian. During the Christmas period, Norwegians hide all their brooms in order to keep away the evil witches who ride on brooms from their homes.

Ukraine: Decorating Christmas trees with spiderwebs

It's Christmas, not Halloween. While the whole world decorates their Christmas trees with little Santas, lights, and colourful items, in Ukraine people decorate their Christmas trees with spider webs. Ukrainians believe that decorating the tree will bring them good luck in their home and life.

Ireland: Beer and pie for Santa

In most places in the world, people leave biscuits and milk for their dear Santa. But in Ireland, in order to make their Santa happy, children leave a bear and a mince pie for him.

Venezuela: Skate on Christmas Day

If you are in Caracas, Venezuela, during the Christmas period, make sure you have a pair of skates. From December 16 to 24, Venezuelans attend early morning church services, and people roller skate from their homes to the church.
Roads are closed in order to make sure that there is no traffic so that people don't face any problems while roller skating.
The reason behind the strange tradition is unknown.

Ireland: Christmas with Krampus, the "half-goat, half-demon"

In Christmas, people step out to see the beautiful streets all decked up in lights, and beautiful props and people enjoy their street food in the cosy weather. But this is not the case in Ireland, where joyful celebrations are haunted by the "half-goat, half-demon" known as Krampus.

Man dressed as fearsome demon with two horns and a scary face comes out during Christmas time and punishes children who have done bad things.

Portugal: Dinning with dead relatives

In Portugal, not only family members who are present at the moment will get their plate on the table, but those who have passed will be treated to traditional Christmas food. During the annual feast known as consoda, organised on Christmas morning, people put extra food on the dining table for their family members who have passed away.
The thought behind this belief is that it will bring good fortune to their home.

Catalonia: Beat the log until it poops!

One of the weird yet strange traditions of Catalonia, a Spanish region. A few weeks before Christmas, people start celebrating caga tió, which means defecating or pooping. Under this weird tradition, locals brought a small wooden log into their home and make a cute face over it. They keep it, feed it fruits and sweets, and take care of it until Christmas Eve when the family beats the log with sticks in order to get the treats from it, and while doing this strange custom, they sing, "If you don't poop anything, I will hit you with my stick."

'Cirkus' Twitter Review: Netizens call Ranveer Singh comedy drama 'outdated'

Making a new series is somewhat easier compared to creating a sequel of a hit franchise as it has to invariably match up to the audience's expectations. Netflix's 'Emily in Paris' is one such show that became an audience favourite during the COVID-19 pandemic and made millions of people fall in love with the exciting and cheery American girl Emily played by Lilly Collins and how she begins her new life in Paris.

Two years down the line, the makers have already given us two seasons. The third season released on Friday on Netflix. Was this new season worth the wait? Or are makers just dragging the show under the franchise name and offering nothing new? Let's find out.

After the chaotic ending of the last season, Emily is stuck between her two bosses: first, her pregnant American boss Madeline (Kate Walsh), and then her French firm president Sylvie, who has left her position at Savoir and is now working on her new firm. Both Madeline and Sylvie need Emily, but it is up to her to decide who she will assist with her innovative ideas; whether she will select Madeline and save her job, or Sylvie and become an unemployed American in Paris.

Emily's love life is going fine with her British banker boyfriend, Alfie, but she still has hidden feelings for Gabriel, who is running his restaurant and is very serious about Camille.

What's new this season?

The new season is not all about Emily. In the previous season, the makers focused primarily on Emily, but in this new season, they have improved and focused on other characters and showed the emotional and professional struggles that they are going through in their life simultaneously with Emily.

Mindy played by Ashley Park, has carved out a place in people's hearts. So keeping that in mind, her love and professional life are the primary emphasis of this season. Not just Mindy, but other characters like Sylvie and Camille have received abundant screen time.

What does this season lack?

As compared to the first two, this one is not as much fun as we were expecting it to be. Emily has understood that she belongs in Paris and is looking for a stable future with the French. Emily is not any more enthusiastic and entertaining as she used to be. As always, she is doing her best as an American marketing executive, and the complications are still there, but not that much.

The 10-episode series created by Darren Star is pretty predictable and does not offer anything major, except for the last climax that will surely make the fourth season exciting.

The show is lazily written and unnecessarily exaggerated and somewhere feels like, the makers have just made the show for the sake of fans' excitement for another season.
We live in the age of instant gratification and Gen-Z is the mascot for it. Hungry? Over the years many modern dating developments shocked us and the most recent one that is gaining prominence among Chinese youngsters is 'zui you' which means "mouth buddies".
