Union Minister Naidu confirmed that the Ministry issued strict instructions to all airline operators not to hike airfares.&nbsp;
He further said that the ministry is ensuring the safe travel of tourists from Srinagar, adding that fares are being monitored and kept at reasonable levels.&nbsp;
In addition to the four extra flights already announced, three more flights to Delhi have been added for today&mdash;IndiGo 6E 3203 (Dep: 1700, Arr: 1800), IndiGo 6E 3103 (Dep: 1800, Arr: 1930), and a SpiceJet flight scheduled to depart at 10:30 PM. All airlines operating from Srinagar have waived cancellation and rescheduling charges to support passengers," he said in a post on X.&nbsp;
The minister further assured that food and water are being provided at the airport and an extra tent has been set up outside for those waiting.&nbsp;

Shah was the only local killed in the attack. Reportedly, the terrorists were choosing their targets after asking them about their religion and making them recite an Islamic verse and then killing 26 people.&nbsp;
Notably, Shah was the only breadwinner of the family, which includes his elderly parents, wife and children.&nbsp;

Whoever is responsible must face the consequences."

Kashmiri influencers have taken to social media to call out the 'unforgivable, brutal and inhumane' act of violence. They ask 'Kashmir was a piece of heaven on Earth, no?'
The page 'The Random Lifafa', posted, "A man was asked to come out of his tent and recite an Islamic verse. When he couldn't, he was shot thrice. A woman said terrorists first asked the name before shooting down the victims. And when they bombed other people's houses, we protested but not enough, we opposed them but not enough. And where has it led us?"

"These attacks are not who we are. We are hospitality. We are warmth. We are resilience. And we are grieving. Whoever raised their hand against you raised it against the soul of Kashmir. We weep with you, and for what has been lost. We will keep fighting&mdash;for peace, for love, for you to return," further emphasising.

<h2>PM Modi vows to bring justice</h2>
PM Modi condemned the attack on tourists and vowerd that those behind the heinous act would be brought to justice.&nbsp;
"They (terrorists) will not be spared! Their evil agenda will never succeed. Our resolve to fight terrorism is unshakable and it will get even stronger," PM Modi said in a post on X.&nbsp;
He also conveyed his condolences to those who lost their loved ones in the terror attack.&nbsp;
The tourists said that the attackers seemed to be targeting Hindu tourists. &ldquo;Three to four people attacked us. I told them &ndash; kill me too, you&rsquo;ve already killed my husband. One of them said, &lsquo;I won&rsquo;t kill you. Go tell this to Modi&rsquo;,&rdquo; one of the tourists recounted.
Eyewitnesses said the attackers came out of the thick pine forests surrounding the area and started shooting at civilians, triggering chaos and panic.

US President Donald Trump expressed condolences, saying that the US stands strong with India against terrorism.
"We pray for the souls of those lost, and for the recovery of the injured. Prime Minister Modi, and the incredible people of India, have our full support and deepest sympathies. Our hearts are with you all," he said in a post on X.&nbsp;
Trump is also scheduled to talk to PM Modi regarding the attack in J&amp;K, White House press secretary said.&nbsp;
Russian President Vladimir Putin extended his condolences in a statement and said that "this brutal crime has no justification whatsoever."
"Kindly accept the sincere condolences over the tragic consequences of the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, whose victims were civilians &mdash; citizens of various countries. We expect that its organisers and perpetrators will face deserved punishment. I would like to reiterate our commitment to further increasing cooperation with Indian partners in fighting terrorism in all its forms and manifestations," he said.&nbsp;
Ukraine has also issued a statement and said that it is deeply concerned over the attack on tourists at Pahalgam, J&amp;K.
