Prince William will be honouring his father King Charles III, during his coronation on Saturday. William is also the heir to the throne and on Saturday's ceremony, he will vow his loyalty and allegiance to the king during ceremony.

According to the liturgy of the service, about halfway through the historic ceremony, William will kneel before his father, place his hands between his and recite: "I, William, Prince of Wales, pledge my loyalty to you and faith and truth I will bear unto you, as your liege man of life and limb. So help me God."

The Prince of Wales is the only member of the royal family who will honour the King in this manner during the service. He also appears as the Stole Royal as the Robe Royal is presented to the king. William will assist both Baroness Merron and the bishops in placing the robe on Charles.

A similar vow, known as the Homage of Royal Blood, was taken by William's late grandfather Prince Philip during Queen Elizabeth's coronation. Phillip pledged to "liege man of life and limb" to the late queen in 1953.

As per the liturgy, there is a change in tradition when it comes to the Homage of the People. In the past, that role was performed by hereditary dukes and earls at Westminster Abbey during the coronation.

This year, Charles and Archbishop, the Most Rev. and Right Honorable Justin Welby have invited the public to participate in the homage.

The Central Beacons Mountain Rescue team was in for a special surprise as they recently had Prince William and Princess Kate delivering them 22 pizza pies. The Prince and Princess of Wales hand-delivered the pizza boxes at the Dowlais Rugby Club, where they mingled with volunteers after spending the morning participating in the team's training exercises.

The royal couple were dressed casually. Usually seen in formal dresses and heels, Kate chose a casual attire by wearing pair of black skinny cargo pants, a forest-green turtleneck sweater, an olive collared zip-up jacket, and dark brown hiking boots. Her husband, William's outfit was similarly pared down; the royal wore a light blue collared button-up, a black puffer jacket, gray trousers, and brown boots.

While waiting for the pizza at a nearby food truck, the couple was photographed in the midst of a rare display of PDA as Kate holded her hand up to William's back.

Prince William helps out at Indian restaurant in Birmingham, takes booking

Britain's Prince William helped out an Indian restaurant during a royal visit on Thursday by taking a phone reservation from an unsuspecting customer.

The heir to the British throne and his wife Kate were visiting the family-run restaurant Indian Streatery during their trip to Birmingham in central England, when he took the call from someone seeking a booking for two people.

After checking with the owners as to the restaurant's location, he then had a discussion with the caller about when a table was free and whether they would have time to eat before catching their train.

"What name is it under?" the prince said as he concluded the conversation, without revealing his own name to the caller. "See you at quarter past two."

William's office later said on Twitter: "Hope we told this customer to come to the right place...!"

As well as taking the booking, the royals also helped out preparing dishes in the restaurant's kitchen before continuing their visit in the city with a game of darts at an underground bar.

The Crown Season 6: First look of Prince William, Kate Middleton unveiled

As per a new book, Princess of Wales Kate Middleton had to undergo a fertility test before she got hitched to the current heir to the British throne, Prince William. And also, if she had been found unfertile, the marriage might even have been called off. As per a new book titled Gilded Youth: An Intimate History of Growing Up in the Royal Family written by Tom Quinn, Middleton's marriage with William was allowed due to a few precautions. It is not usual for a future king like William to marry a middle-class commoner. Prince Diana, Quinn says, also had to undergo similar tests before her marriage to the current King Charles III.

"These are always carried out to ensure a future queen is able to have children. If Kate had not been fertile, there is little doubt the marriage would have been off," says Quinn (quoted by Hello magazine).

The author further says that Princess Diana did not know that the tests she went through were to test her fertility. She thought it was just her medical checkup.

"Diana complained in a brief encounter with the present author that she had in all innocence thought her premarital check-ups had to do with general health, only realising later on that she had actually been tested for fertility. 'I was so innocent I just went along with everything at that stage,' she said," says Quinn in his book.

Kate Middleton and Prince William's marriage

They married in a grand and highly publicised ceremony on April 29, 2011, at Westminster Abbey in London. The wedding was a global event, with an estimated 2 billion people tuning in to watch the live broadcast. Kate's dress, designed by Sarah Burton of the fashion house Alexander McQueen, was widely praised for its elegance and timeless style.

The wedding was attended by many high-profile guests, including members of the royal family, heads of state, and celebrities. The couple exchanged vows and rings, and William presented Kate with a sapphire and diamond engagement ring that had belonged to his mother, Princess Diana.

After the ceremony, the newlyweds embarked on a procession through the streets of London, before joining guests at a reception at Buckingham Palace. They later departed for their honeymoon in the Seychelles.

The marriage of Kate and William was seen as a symbol of modernisation and change within the royal family, as Kate was the first non-aristocratic bride to marry a future king in over 350 years. The couple has since become known for their public appearances, charitable work, and dedication to family life, with three children: Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.

Prince William and Kate Middleton will attend BAFTA 2023 after two-year hiatus

Prince Harry's much-awaited exclusive autobiography 'Spare' which has been released on the stands of bookstores worldwide is driving massive sales. The book release comes after six hours docuseries of 'Harry and Meghan'. Watch to know more.

Prince Harry's memoir breaks UK sales record

Prince Harry's memoir 'Spare' is yet to hit the stands but the book is already making headlines thanks to its explosive content. In his book, which hits the stand on January 10, Harry has claimed that his brother Prince William and his sister-in-law Kate Middleton encouraged him to wear a Nazi uniform at a costume party in 2005. Harry was 20 years old at that time.

According to a report on Page six, Harry reportedly has written that William and Kate had 'howled with laughter' when they had seen him in the Nazi outfit. Harry's photo of wearing a military shirt and red swastika armband holding a drink and a cigarette had made headlines back in 2005 and several had deemed his costume as 'inappropriate and insensitive'.

In the book, Harry claims that he debated between dressing as a Nazi or a pilot for the 'Native and Colonial'-themed costume party. Prince William also attended, dressed as a lion.

"I phoned Willy and Kate, and asked what they thought. Nazi uniform, they said," Harry writes, saying he brought the costume home and tried it on. "They both howled. Worse than Willy's leotard outfit! Way more ridiculous! Which, again, was the point."

In later years, Harry expressed deep remorse over the offensive outfit and called it "one of the biggest mistakes of my life," during a moment in the 'Harry & Meghan' docuseries on Netflix in December 2022.

Prince Harry's memoir 'Spare' is yet to hit the stands but the book is already making headlines thanks to its explosive content. Which, again, was the point." In later years, Harry expressed deep remorse over the offensive outfit and called it "one of the biggest mistakes of my life," during a moment in the 'Harry & Meghan' docuseries on Netflix in December 2022. "All I wanted to do was make it right," he added. And while he "could've just ignored it and probably made the same mistakes over and over again," he learned from the experience. Obnoxious Exclusive! Prince Harry admits he Googled wife Meghan Markle's 'love scenes' from 'Suits'

Prince Harry continues to drop explosive details of his fight with elder brother Prince William and the “institution” (read British monarchy) ahead of the release of his memoir “Spare”. In a passage from the memoir, which is now going viral, it’s mentioned that Prince William hit Harry and pushed him to the floor after describing the latter's wife as “difficult”, “rude” and “abrasive”.

Prince Harry said that he tried to get William a glass of water, but instead, he “came at me.”
“It all happened so fast. So very fast. He grabbed me by the collar, ripped my necklace, and knocked me to the floor. I landed on the dog’s bowl, which cracked under my back, the pieces cutting into me. I lay there for a moment, dazed, then got to my feet and told him to get out,” said Prince Harry in the passage.

William then left and said, “You don’t need to tell Meg about this.”

Harry then writes that Meghan Markle, his wife, noticed the “scrapes and bruises” and she “was terribly sad.”

Harry’s memoir comes out on January 10. In a statement, he said that he is “excited for people to read a firsthand account of my life that’s accurate and wholly truthful.”

Harry and Meghan have levelled a lot of allegations against William and their family ever since their Netflix documentary premiered. It’s expected that there will be more on the way as Harry plans to sit down with Anderson Cooper and ITV’s Tom Bradby for broadcast interviews. These interviews will air on January 8. The date, as most would know, is symbolic in the couple’s lives as they announced three years ago that they would be stepping back as working members of the royal family.

Prince Harry claims in memoir William hit and pushed him to the floor over Meghan Markle

The Prince and Princess of Wales, William and Kate have reportedly decided to not watch Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's tell-all documentary 'Harry and Meghan'.

A royal source told Page Six - 'William and Kate's aides have briefed them on the show, but don't expect the couple to sit down in their cottage with a bowl of popcorn to tune in themselves."

Harry and Meghan have talked about their strained relationship with his brother and sister-in-law throughout the course of the six-part documentary series. Harry even went on to reveal that William has shouted at him when he decided to leave UK and move to the US.

Early on in his whirlwind courtship with Markle, Harry had a falling out with William and their schism has only gotten worse since the Duke and Duchess of Sussex stepped down as senior royal members in January 2020.

Harry opened up about his decision to move out of the UK after which he met his grandmother the late Queen Elizabeth, his father King Charles and his brother Prince William in Sandringham in January 2020. He revealed that they all decided to meet when Meghan left for Canada, prior to that they avoided any meeting.

He further added that in the meeting his brother William shouted at him while his father King Charles III lied, and his grandmother watched all of it unravel, sitting there, staying mum.

"I went in with the same proposal I had made publicly. But once I got there, I was given five options. One is all in, no change and five is all out. I chose three, half in half out. Have our own jobs but also support the Queen. But it became very clear very quickly that goal was not up for discussion or debate," said Harry.

"It was terrifying to have my brother scream and shout at me and have my father say things that were simply not true. And my grandmother quietly sits there and sort of takes it all in. But you have to understand that from the family perspective, especially from hers, there are ways of doing things and her ultimate goal, mission, slash responsibility is the institution," he added in the documentary.

In the same episode of the documentary series, Harry said that as soon as he came out of the meeting, he was told that a joint statement has been issued on behalf of him and his brother William quashing reports of a rift between them. He said in the documentary series, "A story came out saying part of the reason Meghan and I were leaving was that William had bullied us out."

And soon after, when he came out of the meeting with his brother and father, he was told that a joint statement has been issued in his and William`s name quashing the report.

"Once I got in the car after the meeting, I was told about a joint statement that had been put out in my name and my brother`s name, squashing the story about him bullying us out of the family. I couldn`t believe it. No one had asked me. No one had asked me permission to put out a statement like that."

"Within four hours they were happy to lie to protect my brother and yet for three years they were never willing, to tell the truth, to protect us. There was no other option at this point. I said we need to get out of here," added Harry.

Prince William, Kate Middleton skip 'Harry and Meghan' documentary series

For all who have keenly followed the Harry and Meghan saga right from the time Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced they were quitting their roles in the royal family and moving to the US, the latest episodes of their docuseries 'Harry and Meghan' may seem repetitive.

The first three episodes that premiered on Netflix on December 8, had the couple speaking about the toxic paparazzi culture that Meghan had been a victim of. In its latest episodes (the next three), the couple continues to put the blame on the media, and this time even point fingers evidently towards the 'institution' which is basically the royal family.

The show has Hollywood actor Tyler Perry, Tennis superstar Serena Williams and other friends of the couple speaking out on the trying times that the two went through and the incidents that led to their decision to move out of the UK and to any place where they could find their privacy. Perry, it is revealed in the series, offered the couple his home in Los Angeles to stay 'as long as they wanted to' amid uncertainty.

For those who have followed the saga for the last few years, the episodes simply recall the incidents that led to Harry and Meghan's decision. Here too it seems evident that the media drove Meghan to depression and even suicidal thoughts during her first pregnancy while they lived in Kensington Palace.

Since the beginning of the series last week, it is evident that the couple has had a toxic relationship with the media. While they have fed off each other over the years, the docu-series attempts to tell that it was the toxic media culture that led to the 'Megxit'. It is important to note that the couple has used the same media to always publicise and promote their various charitable causes and now even their own story.

The new episodes (Episode 4-6) attempt to then look at how Buckingham Palace failed to provide any sense of security and safety net that the couple had so desired. Just like the first three episodes, the next three too had them speaking in pronouns while calling the family the 'institution'. The only time the two seem to put their guards down is while blaming Prince William, Harry's older brother.

Harry reveals that when the initial conversation of them moving out of the UK began, behind closed doors William reportedly screamed and shouted at Harry and their father, King Charles failed to be the peacemaker. The docuseries seemed to just re-affirm a fact that has been in the public eye for a while - that the relationship between the two brothers has soured over the years. Harry and Meghan also allege, indirectly of the curse, how the late Queen Elizabeth had been silent about their problems even though initially she had offered to sit down and speak to them. Both Meghan and Harry seem to mince no words while speaking or implying about Willliam. On other occasions, vague terms like members of the royal family, institution, they and they are used to speak of Harry's family. At one point the two even praise King Charles calling him 'charming'.

While their story is all too familiar and known, it also reeks of privilege. Harry and Meghan decided to move out to find their own identity, to become financially independent and of course safeguard their privacy. But throughout their documentary, no mention of what they do to lead a lifestyle- that many would term as opulent- is mentioned. The couple, since their exit, has signed multi-million dollar deals with Netflix, cracked a book deal, and started their production house and that's never mentioned. The series also appears extremely one-sided, highlighting the goodness of Meghan and Harry, never really telling the other side of the story.

'Harry & Meghan' docu-series is an old story re-hashed. It makes them appear as privileged, tone-deaf rich kids who have never had to work a day in their lives to earn the money that they now use to support various 'causes'. They are vague, and ambiguous and may have been targeted by the vile media but also leveraged the most out of the publicity. Think about it, how many couples in this world can afford to walk out of a financially influential family and live an equally comfortable life without thinking about the financial implications?

Harry and Meghan's story has been done to death. They have already spoken about their problems in great detail to the world through various platforms. Maybe with the docuseries, they will finally be able to bring closure to their troubled past with the royal family and live the life they have dreamt of living for so long. Let us all finally, move on from this chapter.

A UK-based charity organisation led by a Black woman working in the field of domestic abuse has ceased its operations over safety concerns after she spoke out against mistreatment during an event at Buckingham Palace. Founder of Sistah Space organisation, Ngozi Fulani claimed that she “felt she was being interrogated” by Lady Susan Hussey when she was repeatedly asked where she was “really” from, seeming to know her background and nationality.

Fulani has said she faced online abuse after speaking out against her treatment by Lady Susan Hussey.

Lady Hussey, the 83-year-old godmother of Prince William and the late Queen's lady-in-waiting, had surrendered her honorary role within the Royal Household after the matter came to public attention.

On its Instagram page, Sistah Space, which supports women of African and Caribbean heritage who have been affected by domestic and sexual abuse, said: "Thank you for the continued support and messages.

"Unfortunately, recent events meant that we were forced to temporarily cease many of our operations to ensure the safety of our service users and our team."

"We are overwhelmed by the amount of support and encouragement and look forward to fully reinstating our services as soon as safely possible."

As per reports, Lady Hussey is even ready to make a personal apology to the organisation’s founder.

Earlier, Buckingham Palace in a statement condemned the "unacceptable and deeply regrettable comments" and said that all staff were "being reminded of the diversity and inclusivity policies which they are required to uphold at all times".

A spokesperson for Prince William previously said "racism has no place in our society. The comments were unacceptable, and it is right that the individual has stepped aside with immediate effect."

A UK-based charity organisation led by a Black woman working in the field of domestic abuse has ceased its operations over safety concerns after she spoke out against mistreatment during an event at Buckingham Palace.

Netflix docu-series 'Harry & Meghan' premiered on Thursday after weeks of speculations on how Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's story would affect the British royal family. The OTT platform dropped the first three episodes of the series which mostly highlighted the early life of Harry and Meghan, their growing up years, and how they met.

The episodes had the couple speaking about the dramatic change that Meghan had to undergo in terms of her lifestyle in order to fit into the royal family. Markle recalled how she learned the realities of royal life after meeting Kate Middleton and Prince William.

"When Will and Kate came over and I had met her for the first time, they came over for dinner," Meghan said in the Netflix series that premiered on Thursday. "I remember I was in ripped jeans and barefoot."

"Like I was a hugger, always been a hugger," she added. "I didn't realise that that is really jarring for a lot of Brits."

"I guess I'd start to understand very quickly that the formality on the outside, carried through on the inside."

She continued referring to the multiple etiquette rules that the royal family follows on a daily basis. Meghan said she had mistakenly believed those were only observed in public.

"There is a forward-facing way of being and then you close the door and you relax now," she added and mentioned that she initially felt that members of the royal family would be more at ease in private but she was wrong, as etiquettes were followed even behind close doors.

"But that formality carries over on both sides. And that was surprising to me," she added.

"It's so funny if I look back at it now because now I know so much," she continued about her inside knowledge of royal life. "And I'm so glad I didn't then because I could just authentically be myself without so much preparedness."

India’s Greenhouse-in-a-box was among the five winners announced by the Prince of Wales, Prince William, in Boston, United States, on Friday. It is a sustainable solution for small-scale farmers developed by an Indian startup, Kheyti, in Telangana which has won one million pounds ($1.2 million).

Founded by Prince William this was the second edition of the Earthshot prize which has also been dubbed the ‘Eco Oscars’ and witnessed the presence of several celebrities who walked the green carpet. Kheyti won the prize in the Protect and Restore Nature category which saw hundreds of entries from across the world.

Co-founder and CEO of Kheyti, Kaushik Kappagantulu, said that he had launched the solution for at least 100 million local smallholder farmers who are most impacted by climate change. The aim of greenhouse-in-a-box is to reduce costs and increase yields which in turn would help protect the livelihoods of these farmers.

This simple solution has bigger implications than the Greenhouse-in-a-box, which can grow crops while offering them shelter from unpredictable elements including destructive pests. Notably, the plants in this greenhouse require 98 per cent less water while the yield is seven times higher than those grown outside. Furthermore, it also costs 90 per cent less than an average greenhouse.

The start-up also offers training and support to the farmers in making sure the greenhouse is as effective as possible. Therefore, with less water and the use of pesticides, it also protects the environment while also helping small-holder farmers save money and resources.

“We are honoured to be recognised by The Earthshot Prize this year. The world depends on its small-hold farmers and yet their lives are amongst the hardest on earth,” said Kappagantulu. He added, “Our Greenhouse-in-a-Box is empowering farmers in India today. The steps we have already taken at Kheyti are now building to change farmers’ lives at scale.”

Among the 15 finalists, there was another Indian project named Fleather, developed by Founder and CEO Ankit Agarwal’s Phool which is based in the state of Uttar Pradesh. The project began with the aim to clean up India’s holiest river Ganges and eventually they were able to collect flowers dispensed into the river and turn them into sustainable leather called Fleather.

All 15 finalists will receive support from the Earthshot Prize Global Alliance which is a network of NGOs and private sector businesses around the world which will assist in scaling these solutions. The other five winners are from Kenya, the United Kingdom, Australia and Oman.

The winning projects are based in Australia, Oman, Kenya, the UK and India. The Earthshot Prize award committee, which includes various influential personalities like singer Shakira, actress Cate Blanchett, naturalist and “Planet Earth” narrator Sir David Attenborough, soccer star Dani Alves and NBA Hall of Famer Yao Ming, soccer star Dani Alves finalised the winners.

The winners were selected by the esteemed panel from the list of 15 finalists. One of the winners of the Earthshot Prize and founder of 44.01 Talal Hasan said that it was “a proud moment” for his team to win the prestigious award.

"We started 44.01 two years ago because we saw the very real impact of climate change here in Oman. Winning the Earthshot Prize will help us scale our solution around the world, and ultimately eliminate billions of tonnes of CO2. Climate change is the greatest challenge we have ever faced but being part of this amazing group of finalists give us hope,” he said.

Who are the five winners of the Earthshot Prize 2022?

Kenya's Mukuru Clean Stoves: Mukuru Clean Stoves, based in Kenya, is a business founded by a female and mostly run by female staff. They make stoves which are fired using processed biomass which constitutes wood, charcoal and sugarcane instead of solid fuels, which can lead to accidents and air pollution.

India's Kheyti: Greenhouse-in-a-Box, founded and run by Kaushik Kappagantulu in India, is helping small-hold farmers in protecting their crops from pests and harsh weather conditions of the country, which has suffered the severe impact of climate change.

United Kingdom's Notpla: Amongst the winners, one was a project based in the UK that provides a waste-free solution by creating bio-degradable and natural plastic, which is made of seaweed. The company, which is run by Pierre Paslier and Rodrigo Garcia Gonzalez, has supplied more than a million takeaway food boxes to Just Eat, a food delivery platform.

Australia's Indigenous Women of the Great Barrier Reef: The Indigenous Women of the Great Barrier Reef from Australia were selected for running a programme under which 60 women were trained in both digital and traditional ocean conservation methods.

Oman's 44.01: Talal Hasan's project 44.01 in Oman has a unique proposition for its clients where it ensures to turn carbon dioxide into peridotite, a rock found in abundance globally as well in Oman. The project offers safe and low-cost alternative methods for storing carbon, like burying it in disused oil wells.

What is the annual Earthshot Prize?

Prince William’s godmother has resigned from her duties at Buckingham Palace. Lady Susan Hussey, 83, quit after she repeatedly questioned Ngozi Fulani where she came from. Ngozi Fulani is Black.

This incident took place during a reception in the palace as Ngozi, chief executive of charity Sistah Space, was present at the party.

Lady Susan Hussey had to quit as there was backlash for her persistent questioning of Ngozi. A spokesperson for her godson, Prince of Wales, said that it was “really disappointing” to hear what happened. The Kensington Palace spokesperson said, "Obviously, I wasn't there, but racism has no place in our society. The comments were unacceptable, and it is right that the individual has stepped aside with immediate effect.”

Meanwhile, Ngozi Fulani works as an advocate for survivors of domestic abuse and described the exchange as a "violation". She wrote on Twitter that Lady Hussey, who she refers to as 'Lady SH', "approached me, moved my hair to see my name badge" and then insisted on asking her "what part of Africa are you from".

Even though Ngozi told Lady Susan that she is British, the latter said, "I can see I am going to have a challenge getting you to say where you're from."

Britain's Prince William clapped back at Welsh actor Michael Sheen, who slammed the Prince of Wales for distributing shirts to England's squad ahead of the FIFA World Cup.

The outspoken actor Sheen said that Wiliam holds the title of Prince of Wales and it was "entirely inappropriate" when he visited England's team's training centre on Monday and handed out the shirts.

On his official Twitter handle, Sheen wrote: "He can, of course, support whoever he likes and as President of the FA his role makes [the] visit understandable. But surely he sees holding the title Prince of Wales at the same time is entirely inappropriate? Not a shred of embarrassment? Or sensitivity to the problem here?"

FIFA World Cup: Prince William reacts after Welsh actor slammed him for handing out shirts to English players

There will not be a big investiture ceremony for Prince William and Catherine, who have become Prince and Princess of Wales respectively after death of Queen Elizabeth the Second earlier this month. Reuters quoted a source to report this.

This would be a departure from ceremony for William's father, now King Charles, who became Prince of Wales in 1969 at Caernarfon Castle.

The source said they were instead focusing on deepening the trust and respect of the people of Wales.

The eldest son of the monarch and heir to the throne has usually been made the Prince of Wales since 1301 when Edward I gave the title to his son, who was born at Caernarfon in north Wales

Prince William and Catherine are currently in Wales. This is their first Welsh visit since becoming Prince and Princess of Wales.

The couple returned to the island of Anglesey off the coast of north Wales where they lived when they were first married and William, now heir to the throne, worked as a Royal Air Force Search and Rescue helicopter pilot.

They also visited the Holyhead Lifeboat Station and then headed to Swansea in south Wales to meet volunteers based at a church.

Their office said the couple had a deep affection for Wales and would be spending more time there in their new roles, which were announced by William's father King Charles in his first address to the nation after the queen's death.

No big investiture ceremony planned for Prince William and Kate

Royalty is not without its strict rules, protocols and customs. Some of these date back to centuries when they were first made. British Royal Family is no exception to this. While it may look glamorous to be a royal. Even they are bound by strict rules. Queen Elizabeth the Second's funeral brought forth some of these norms.

The Queen passed away on September 8 after ruling the United Kingdom for 7 decades. Her passing is truly an epochal moment. Every minute detail about her funeral is being closely watched by millions across the world.

It was hence not lost on viewers that while King Charles the Third, Princess Anne, Prince Edward and Prince William sported military uniforms while they attended the funeral procession, Prince Harry wore a black suit and not any military outfit.

It definitely looked odd to the casual eye because Prince Harry has gone on two military missions in Afghanistan. It would have been natural for him to don his military uniform right?

Not quite, in the world of British Royals.

Buckingham Palace has previously made clear that only working members of the Royal Family who hold rank in the military can wear a military uniform during such events.

Prince Harry is no longer a working member of the royal family.

But he had a military rank right?

Well, his military ranks were taken from him when he opted to step down from royal duties as a senior member of the Royal Family. Prince Harry and his wife Megan Markle more than two years ago.

When Britney Spears opened up about her secret email romance with Prince William

Brothers Prince Williams and Prince Harry will be together when mounting a silent vigil beside the coffin of Queen Elizabeth II on Saturday.

Reportedly, Prince William, the Prince of Wales, will stand at the head of the coffin while Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex, will stand at its foot for the 15-minute vigil. Both will be in uniform while the other grandchildren will be wearing morning coats and dark formal dresses, adorned with decorations.

Both brothers standing in close proximity had become a rare phenomenon up until the departure of their grandmother. However, ever since Queen Elizabeth II passed away, the brothers have kept aside everything and tried to present a singular front, at least in the public eye.

However, the odd flare-up is still there. As reported by WION, Prince Harry was reportedly barred from wearing his military uniform at the Queen's vigil, primarily because when he quit royal life in 2020 and moved to California with his wife Meghan Markle, he was stripped of the right.

However, after the controversy snowballed, Prince Harry received authorisation to wear the military uniform from King Charles III.

While one controversy died down, another sprouted up earlier today. According to media reports, while Harry will be present at the vigil today, he, alongside his wife has been barred from tomorrow's ceremony when state heads of foreign nations will be coming to pay their respects to the Queen.

World leaders such as US President Joe Biden, French President Emmanuel Macron amongst others hundreds of heads of state will be gathering in London on the eve of the Queen's funeral, scheduled to take place on Monday at the Windsor Chapel where she will be buried.

The report further mentioned that the couple was apparently baffled after hearing about the decision as royal officials insisted that they do not attend the event.
