As the world gears up to see Prince Harry and Meghan Markle tie the knot in a traditional manner on May 19 at St. George's Chapel, India also has a few ambassadors representing the country at the highly televised event.&nbsp;

Apart from Indian actress Priyanka Chopra, there are three other Indians attending the wedding.

Suhani Jalota from Mumbai who is the founder Myna Mahila Foundation, the NGO that promotes menstrual hygiene and was selected by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle as one of the seven charities to benefit from donations from the Royal Wedding.

The foundation is also one of seven charities the royal couple has selected for guests to donate money to in lieu of gifts after Markle visited it last year.

She will make her way from London to Windsor Castle, 20 miles away, to attend the royal wedding.

''It is a great honour and responsibility because I will be a representative of India at the wedding,'' Suhani Jalota&nbsp;

She will be wearing a peach sari and will be accompanied by three other women from her Myna Mahila Foundation.

Archana Ambre, 25, a sales manager from Myna Mahila Foundation who lives in Mankhurd slum, and Deborah Das, 31, production and HR manager with the charity, from Maharashtra Nagar slum, will also join the star-studded guest list with Suhani Jalota at the wedding inside Windsor Castle.

Neither Ambre nor Das had ever flown on an aeroplane before. In fact, Das did not even have a passport when she got the invitation card printed in gold with her name on in the post a month ago.&nbsp;

They have received invitations to the wedding alongside the founder of the charity, Suhani Jalota, 23, and its UK volunteer, Imogen Mansfield, 26.

Suhani Jalota is one of the 600 guests attending the St George’s Chapel service, whereas the other three will watch from inside the grounds of Windsor Castle alongside 100 schoolchildren, charity representatives and handpicked members of the public.

Apart from the Queen and royalty, famous stars like singer Sir Elton John, American tennis star Serena Williams, Meghan’s Suits co-stars, designer Mino Nonoo, and Victoria and David Beckham will also be seen.

“Meghan is sincere and well-researched. When she came to see us, she did not just talk about women’s empowerment because it was trendy. She knew her stuff,” Jalota said. “She said she would help us in any way she could. We never anticipated something like this would happen. It is an honour to be representing India — I feel so excited. It was a huge shock. I am looking forward to seeing Meghan and the other charities and we are really excited about seeing Priyanka.”

Looking stylish as ever, the Beckhams arrived for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle wedding at St. George's Chapel. No stranger to royal weddings, they were also seen in 2011 for Prince William and Kate Middleton's wedding.&nbsp;

Dressed in a black dress with a smart hat for the occasion, Victoria Beckham walked towards the wedding venue as David led her own, himself dressed in a grey suit.&nbsp;

Opposite, a new array of sleeping bags has appeared, the temporary home for royal superfans, some of whom have travelled thousands of miles to spend their days and nights on Windsor`s streets for a glimpse of the queen`s grandson Prince Harry and his fiancee Meghan Markle`s on their glittering wedding day.&nbsp 
 
"They’ve got their own home, they’re camping. We actually live out here. That’s the difference," Davis, originally from the nearby town of Slough, told Reuters. 
 
The issue of rough sleepers in Windsor made headlines in January when the local council leader said they would be cleared from the streets before Saturday`s wedding because their “detritus” was presenting the quaint town, dominated by the castle to the west of London, in a poor light.&nbsp 
 
Simon Dudley, the leader of the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead council, wrote on Twitter there had been an “epidemic of rough sleeping and vagrancy” in the town and said he wanted police “to focus on dealing with this before the #RoyalWedding”. His remarks drew criticism from local homeless organisations and even Prime Minister Theresa May. 
 
"They shouldn’t really hide the fact that there are homeless people here," Davis said. "They should help us." 
 
Homelessness has become a high-profile political issue in recent months, with official figures showing that there were 4,134 rough sleepers counted on a single night in England in autumn 2016, an increase of 134 percent since 2010 when there were fewer than 1,800. 
 
The government has set a target of halving rough sleeping by 2022 and abolishing it by 2027, with May promising to spend 500 million pounds on tackling homelessness.

Thames Valley Police, the local force in charge of the wedding security, they were working closely with the council and local services to “offer support” to the homeless in Windsor. 
 
"A scheme has been set up for those who choose, to store their belongings at the Windsor Homeless Project during the Royal Wedding, and our officers have been assisting with transport of belongings, however this is entirely voluntary to ensure the safety of the homeless community," police said. 
 
The council said all those sleeping rough had been offered somewhere to stay or a place to house their belongings while the more than 100,000 visitors throng the streets of Windsor this weekend.&nbsp 
 
"We hope individuals will take up the offer to so that we can help prevent them from losing possessions on a day when the town will be extremely busy," the council said in a statement. &nbsp 
 
The superfans by the castle have been banned from erecting tents as part of tight security measures and they were sympathetic to the homeless living just a stone’s throw away from where they were camping. &nbsp &nbsp“Everybody needs a place to sleep,” said American Donna Werner, who had travelled 3,000 miles from New Fairfield, Connecticut, to camp by the castle for several days. &nbsp &nbsp"Everybody’s not as lucky as some of us ... Months before meeting the Queen for the first time and having a "cuppa" with her Majesty, Meghan Markle brushed up on tea drinking etiquette at a cottage near Los Angeles -- where she was apparently a natural.

"Well, she learned it all here," Edmund Fry, the British-born owner of Rose Tree Cottage in Pasadena, told AFP in an interview this week. "On a scale of one to 10, by the time she finished coming to us, I would say she would probably be a 9.5.

"But I have to say that because I want her to come back for the other half point."&nbsp

Fry said the California-born actress, who will marry Prince Harry this weekend, on several occasions visited the picturesque tea room -- decked out with all things British -- where she was given the inside track on tea drinking.

"She came with friends and was very relaxed and very much in control," he recalled.

"I do believe that I mentioned, as I always do, that the handle of the cup is always left at three o'clock of course ... and the spoon always needs to be left at six o'clock and 12 o'clock," said the 77-year-old, who dresses in tails and white gloves while serving and educating his customers.

He added that Markle seemed like a natural on her repeated visits and was unlikely to make any faux pas -- like slurping or using her napkin to blow her nose or wipe her glasses &nbsp-- while sipping tea with the Queen.

"I remember telling her one of the habits in this country is people tend to get much more palsy walsy with their cup ... and they move it in front of them," Fry said, raising his eyebrows in despair.&nbsp

"Maybe it's because they have a tendency to dribble, I'm not sure," he added.

"But this is not a good thing to do."

Another no-no he shared with Markle, he said, was changing the table setting.

"If you were at the palace, you wouldn't dream of moving the cutlery and the silver or the china away from the place where it should be," he said.

Traditional English scones served with tea should also be sliced sideways and topped with jam and clotted cream before each half is eaten separately, pleaded Fry, who looks like a character straight out of "Downton Abbey."

"You don't want to put the two halves together because it ends up looking like a quarter pound hamburger, and the last thing you want is people having cream come down their jowls," he said in his cut-glass British accent.&nbsp

And please, when drinking tea, refrain from slurping or clinking the cup with the spoon when stirring, he added.

As for crooking the little finger while holding the cup and saucer, Fry said that was optional.

"It's not wrong to have your finger in, but ladies tend to leave the pinky slightly crooked," he said.

Fry said he will be celebrating Harry and Meghan's nuptials on Saturday with a wedding party, and will always keep a table open for the newlyweds.

"I'm so sorry about that. That's shocking. That's actually quite hard," she said.

Not all the questions require an acute knowledge of history dating back centuries or knowing the height and age of well-known landmarks.

There are some questions about modern-day British life - you need to know that a general election is held every five years, and that it's illegal for anyone under the age of 18 to buy tobacco, amongst others.

But the test has come under fire by politicians and academic critics who say it serves no purpose, and that the majority of questions are absurd.

"It's gone from being something about practical trivia, to the purely trivial," said Professor Thom Brooks, 44-year-old Dean of Law at Durham University.

Brooks, originally from New England in the United States, is personally familiar with the test, having sat the quiz in 2009 ahead of becoming a UK citizen two years later.

He said it was irrelevant to British everyday life and the government had changed it in 2013 to remove useful information such as registering with a doctor and how to report a crime. One applicant, he said, had failed it more than 60 times.

Last month, a report by Britain's House of Lords committee on citizenship agreed with Brooks and said the government should carry out a comprehensive review.

"You've got stuff in the handbook anyway, about how tall is the London Eye? How big is the Lake District? And who set up the first curry house, what was it called, and what street was it on? Do facts like this, are these required to becoming British, or to integrating?" Brooks asked.

"It's a British citizenship test that very few British citizens can pass."

The London Eye is 443 feet (135 metres) tall, the Lake District covers 885 square miles (2,292 kilometres), Big Ben's clock is over 150 years old, and Sake Dean Mahomed set up the first Indian restaurant in London in 1810. The Hindoostane Coffee House no longer exists, but a plaque commemorating Mahomed - who died in 1851 - is there in its place.

A random survey carried out by Reuters found that out of 41 Britons, only 23 could answer questions they were shown correctly.

The 50-pound ($69) citizenship test is one of the hurdles Markle faces as she gives up her US&nbspnationality to become British.

The complicated process, which Britain has made harder in recent years in an attempt to cut net immigration rates to less than 100,000 a year, requires Markle to have lived in Britain for three years, to have good knowledge of English and to be of sound mind.

The requirement of earning a combined income of at least 18,600 pounds should not prove to be too burdensome for a prince of the realm and his new wife, however.

For many applicants though, the citizenship test is a major stumbling block. The most recent official figures showed that 133,490 tests were taken in 2016 with 47,312 failures.

Despite her new royal status, Markle will not be exempt for learning how many lawmakers sit in the Scottish Parliament or when Mahomed, who opened Britain's first curry house, was born.

"She really will have to do the test so it won't be any wave of the hand of her majesty that will change it," Brooks said.

Alanna Varshney moved to London from California in 2009. She passed the citizenship test in February of this year after vigorous preparation - online practice exams, studying the guidebook, making flashcards and quizzing her British husband.

She thinks most Brits would be "stumped" by the facts and figures that she had to learn, but got lucky with one particular question during her exam.

"My favourite was about which colony in 1776 declared its independence from the United Kingdom," said the 38-year-old who works in marketing, recalling the moment she burst into laughter and got a funny look from the adjucator during the exam.

4 Indians featured on Time's '100 Most Influential People' of 2018, PM Modi not on the list

Princess Diana would approve of her son Prince Harry's marriage to U.S. actress Meghan Markle, according to author Andrew Morton whose famous biography of the late royal caused an uproar in Britain some 25 years ago. Like Diana's union to heir-to-the-throne Prince Charles in 1981, Markle and Harry's wedding next month has captivated the world`s media and drawn inevitable comparisons between the two.&nbsp; 
 
And there are indeed many similarities, said Andrew Morton whose explosive book about Diana in 1992 first blew apart the myth of a fairytale marriage and who has now penned "Meghan: A Hollywood Princess", a biography of the new royal-to-be.&nbsp; 
 
"Diana died at 36, Meghan comes into the scene at 36. In a way she's picked up Diana's baton - she's both elegant, she's glamorous and also she's a humanitarian," he told Reuters. "So Diana would have very much have approved of Meghan and seen that kind of working of fate almost." 
 
Morton`s biography of Diana was an international best-seller, revealing her union with Prince Charles was broken beyond repair and that she had suffered eating disorders and been driven to suicide attempts by the misery of her life with Charles. After her death in a Paris car crash in 1997, Morton revealed she had been his prime source and had smuggled tape recordings out of the palace to him. 
 
In his latest book about Markle, which he describes as a snapshot, said a fuller picture would probably emerge in 10 years&nbsp;time, he has had to rely on those who knew her growing up in California where he conveniently has a home, some family members and colleagues as well as people who work at the palace. "I still have my ins there," he said.

 
Extracts from the book include how Ninaki Priddy, a childhood friend of Markle said the actress had been fascinated by the royal family. "She wants to be Princess Diana 2.0," Priddy is quoted as saying.&nbsp; It`s not a description Morton shares. 
 
"Her friend was rather exaggerating," he said. "I think Meghan wants to be Meghan 1.0, that is to say, known for being Meghan not for being in the shadow of somebody else. "That is not to say she was unaware of Harry's mother, who was described as the world's most photographed woman before her death.&nbsp; 
 
"She certainly knew about Diana, she watched the funeral, she was very affected by it, she and her friends collected toys to give to needy children in response," Morton said.&nbsp; 
 
In a TV interview given after their engagement was announced last November, Harry said Markle and his mother would have been best friends and as "thick as thieves", disclosing that the ring he gave his fiancee and which he designed contained diamonds from jewellery once owned by Diana.

Extracts from Morton's book published in the media have given the impression of Markle as a social climber who has turned her back on friends and even on her first husband in a quest for fame and success, even sending her wedding ring back in the mail.

"Some people have fallen out with her, some people adore her," said Morton, who has also penned biographies of actor Tom Cruise, singer Madonna and Monica Lewinsky, The White House intern whose affair with Bill Clinton almost toppled the U.S. president.

Whereas Diana famously found adapting to royal life incredibly difficult, Morton thinks Markle will find the change much simpler. Being photographed on red carpets had prepared her for the royal walkabouts and meeting the public.&nbsp;"I think the royal family has changed. I think the impact of Diana has been to make the royal family more accessible both inside and outside Buckingham Palace," he said. 
 
"Here is a woman who is camera-ready, not camera-shy, a woman who is very confident who is very assertive, who took control of the engagement interview for example. "However, he suggests some royal protocol will be hard to get used to. 
 
"This is a girl who was a gender equality advocate for the United Nations having to bow and courtesy to the queen and even Kate Middleton (wife of Harry's elder brother William) in private occasions," he said.
