King Charles shared a throwback photo to mark Father's Day on Sunday. Amid a strained relationship with his younger son, Prince Harry, the British monarch shared an old photograph that features him along with his two sons.

The sweet memory was shared on the royal family’s Instagram page showing the King with his sons Prince William and Prince Harry.

“To Dads everywhere, we wish you a special Father’s Day today,” the post read. It also featured an image of the King with his father, the late Prince Philip and one of Queen Camilla with her late father, Bruce Shand.

The photo was reportedly taken at the family's Balmoral Estate in Scotland when both William and Harry were kids. The photograph shows the father and his sons on the rocky terrain of the estate grounds. While the King is seen dressed in a traditional Scottish outfit, William and Harry opted for tan pants and shirts with rolled-up sleeves. All three appeared to be looking towards something Harry is pointing at out of the shot.

Charles celebrated his first Trooping the Colour as a King recently, to which Harry and his wife Meghan Markle were not invited. Joining King Charles for the photo op of the day on the palace's balcony was Camilla, and heir Prince William. Meanwhile, William, the Prince of Wales — who is father to Prince George, 9, Princess Charlotte, 8, and Prince Louis, 5, with his wife Kate Middleton — also marked Father’s Day by releasing a never-before-seen photo with his three children.

Kate Middleton, now Catherine, Princess of Wales, honoured her late mother-in-law Princess Diana at King Charles III's official birthday celebrations, whose centrepiece was the Trooping The Colour 2023 parade. Pairing her fabulous green ensemble, which was full of symbolism, with Diana's sapphire earrings, the 41-year-old paid a special tribute to the late royal.

Princess Kate choose the green outfit to pay homage to the Irish Guards and her important role as Colonel, which she took from her husband, Prince William, last year.

She paired the green Andrew Gn dress with a green Philip Treacy hat and the gold Cartier shamrock brooch, which is one of Kate's favourite jewellery pieces and she often wears it for St Patrick's Day. But the highlight of the look was, undoubtedly, Princess Diana's earrings.

Composed of a cabochon sapphire surrounded by 8 diamonds with a single diamond holding up a larger cabochon sapphire surrounded by 9 diamonds, the Sapphires in these earrings reportedly originate from the strap of Princess Diana’s Saudi Sapphire Watch. Princess Diana famously wore them for the cover of Vogue in 1994.

Coincidentally, Princess Diana also wore green for her first Trooping the Colour parade as Princess of Wales in 1982. Another thoughtful way of honouring her late mother-in-law.

Catherine as Colonel of the Irish Guards and Camilla as Colonel in chief of the Grenadier Guards joined King Charles in reviewing the troops on the Horse Guard parade, the first time this has ever been done. Both Catherine and Camilla delighted fans as they made an early appearance in a carriage. The pair was accompanied by Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.

With the live pictures on your screens, Britain's King Charles is commemorating his first official birthday parade as the Sovereign. Since 1760, a ritual in which the Sovereign inspects soldiers while riding a horse has taken place every year. Just a few weeks have passed after Charles' coronation on May 6, when the parade known as trooping the colour takes place.

UK: King Charles III takes to saddle to restore royal tradition

Britain's Prince Harry took to the witness stand on Tuesday to testify as a witness in a lawsuit that he has filed against the British tabloid Daily Mirror accusing them of phone hacking and other unlawful activities. Harry is King Charles and the late Princess Diana's younger son and has always been vocal about the toxic tabloid culture in Britain and how it has impacted him since childhood.

Harry is the first senior British royal to give evidence in court in 130 years. In 2020, he and his wife Meghan Markle quit their roles as senior members of the royal family and opted for a more private life in the US. Since then Harry and Meghan have had a strained relationship with the royal family.

'Subjected to invasive articles since childhood'

On Tuesday, Harry stated in court that he has been subjected to incredibly invasive articles since his childhood. Harry was 13 when his mother passed away in a tragic car crash in Paris while being chased by the paparazzi.

When the court asked Harry if he could recall any particular news article that carries a story about him during childhood, the Duke of Sussex was unable to specify and instead said, "I was a child, I was at school, these articles were incredibly invasive, every single time one of these articles was written, it would have an impact on my life, the people around me, my mother in this case."

The trial began in May. Harry is one of more than 100 high-profile figures suing Mirror Group Newspapers (MGN), the publisher of the Daily Mirror, Sunday Mirror and Sunday People, for alleged wrongdoing between 1991 and 2011.

MGN, now owned by Reach, apologised at the beginning of the trial and admitted on one occasion that the Sunday People had unlawfully sought information about Harry, accepting he was entitled to compensation.

However, the publication has rejected his other allegations, saying he had no evidence for his claims.

It is expected that Harry will be asked about the role of Buckingham Palace during his cross-examination. MGN has reportedly claimed that many of the articles were published with the information provided by royal aides.

Harry's lawyer, David Sherborne, told the court on Monday that the lawsuit was not part of a vendetta against the press but intended to focus attention on alleged unlawful activities.

Sherborne said some 2,500 articles about Harry's private life had appeared in the MGN titles during the period the allegations covered, with nothing being "sacrosanct or out of bounds" and "no protection" from these unlawful information-gathering methods.
Prince Harry testifies in court in phone tapping case: Invasive articles impacted my childhood

Britain's King Charles III sent a message of condolence to India's President Droupadi Murmu, on Monday, expressing grief over the deadly Odisha train derailment that claimed the lives of at least 275 people and wounded 1,200 others.

In his condolence message, King Charles also recalled memories of his visit to the state of Odisha 43 years ago.

"Both my wife and I have been most profoundly shocked and saddened by the news of such a dreadful accident outside Balasore. I would like to express our deepest possible condolences to the families of all those who have so tragically lost their lives," Charles was quoted as saying in a statement issued by Buckingham Palace.

“I do hope you know what a special place India and the people of India have in our hearts. I have particularly fond memories of visiting Odisha in 1980 and meeting some of its people on that occasion,” the statement added.

"I pray, therefore, that you may be able to convey our most heartfelt prayers and sympathy to all those who have been affected by this appalling tragedy, together with our special thoughts for the people of Odisha," the King said.

Days after the official portrait of King Charles III was unveiled, the palace has now released some more photos from the historic coronation. On Friday, Buckingham Palace released a new photo that was all about Britain's new line of succession. The picture showed the newly crowned King Charles with his son Prince William, the first heir to the throne, and William's elder son Prince George, the second heir to the throne. The picture, taken in the throne room of the palace, showed the monarch sitting on the royal chair. King Charles is wearing the Robe of Estate, the Imperial State Crown and holding the Orb and Sceptre with Cross. William is standing on one side, and George, 9, on the other. The Prince of Wales was wearing the ceremonial dress uniform of the Welsh Guards. Little Prince, who was one of the Pages of Honour at his grandfather's coronation, is wearing his red uniform. Talking about the momentous picture, photographer Hugo Burnand told Hello! magazine that it was "important to take this picture." "I did a lot of research in the archives of past coronations, and I didn't see any previous pictures of the line of succession," he explained. "While we have seen pictures of the Queen, Prince Charles, Prince William, and Prince George, never have we seen them in the throne room with all the regalia." "There's a lot of formality in that picture. But I think that I've managed to show the essence of the individuals at the same time, which to me makes it not just a historical document, but also a portrait."
On Sunday, Meghan was spotted without her two children – Archie, 4, and Lilibet, 1, for a hike near her California home. Her longtime friends Markus Anderson and Heather Dorak accompanied her for the hike. The Duchess of Sussex was dressed in a deep blue loose-fitted top paired with fitted bottoms and hiking shoes. She completed the casual look with large-frame sunglasses, a scarf and a hat. Meghan seemed to be in a casual mood as she was pictured smiling and talking to her friends.

King Charles III's coronation procession met with boos, chants of 'not my King'. Watch!

The United Kingdom revelled in the coronation of King Charles on Sunday as Windsor Castle turned into a concert venue. Over 20,000 people reached the royal palace to watch the star-studded concert, while millions saw it live online. It featured a 70-piece orchestra, choirs and several unique dramatic performances along with dedicated sets of singers and pop stars.

King Charles, 74, and Queen Camilla, 75, saw the concert from a royal box while the Prince and Princess of Wales, with their two kids George and Charlotte, took front-row seats as Lionel Richie, Katy Perry and British band Take That performed on stage.

Amid the performances and tributes from an array of public figures, Prince William of Wales took to the stage to pay a moving tribute to his father. He marked the day by expressing his feelings in front of the world and praising his Charles, who was formally crowned king on Saturday.

William also noted that his late grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, was "up there, fondly keeping an eye on us", adding that she would be "a very proud mother" seeing Charles on the throne today.

"For over 50 years, in every corner of the UK, across the Commonwealth and around the world, he has dedicated himself to serve others, both current and future generations," the heir to the throne said.
"Pa, we are all so proud of you."

A huge thank you to everyone for making this such a special evening. I want to say a few words about my father, and why I believe this weekend is so important. But don’t worry, unlike Lionel, I won’t go on all night long.

As my Grandmother said when she was crowned, Coronations are a declaration of our hopes for the future. And I know she’s up there, fondly keeping an eye on us. She would be a proud mother. For all that celebrations are magnificent, at the heart of the pageantry is a simple message. Service.

My father’s first words on entering Westminster Abbey yesterday were a pledge of service. It was a pledge to continue to serve. Because for over 50 years, in every corner of the UK, across the Commonwealth and around the world, he has dedicated himself to serving others, both current and future generations, and those whose memory must not be neglected.

Take the natural world. He warned us of the risks to our planet’s health long before it was an everyday issue. Or the Prince’s Trust. It has supported over a million young people, many from disadvantaged backgrounds, to realise their ambitions.

And, perhaps most importantly of all, my father has always understood that people of all faiths, all backgrounds, and all communities, deserve to be celebrated and supported.

Pa, we are all so proud of you.

I also want to express my pride and gratitude for the millions of people who serve, in the forces, in classrooms, hospital wards and local communities. I wish I could mention you all. Your service inspires us all, and tonight we celebrate you too. I commit myself to serve you all. King, Country and Commonwealth.

God Save The King!

"Pa, we are all so proud of you." Read the full text of William's moving tribute for his father below! Good evening Your Majesties. Good evening Windsor! King Charles' coronation: All the memorable photos from the historic day

After a lot of buzz, Prince Harry finally attended the coronation ceremony of his father, King Charles III. But as was expected, there was a bit of awkwardness in his appearance. The Duke of Sussex attended the historic event alone, without his wife Meghan Markle and their two kids, Archie and Lilibet.

Harry walked into the ceremony wearing a dark black suit pinned with his military medals. The Duke seated two seats behind his brother William, who was sitting in the front row with his wife Kate Middleton and two children, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. However, after the coronation ended at Westminster Abbey and the family left with the newly crowned King and Queen on the procession back to Buckingham Palace, Harry was left alone.

As per ET, Harry, the youngest son of King Charles, was spotted waiting for almost 10 minutes alone outside Westminster Abbey for his car. He didn't join the King and Queen in the Golden Carriage procession, and he was also absent from the Buckingham Palace balcony when the newly-crowned King and Queen waved at the crowd present outside the palace.

However, Harry entered the Abbey with his cousins, Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice, and their husbands, Jack Brooksbank and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi. In the pictures from the ceremony, Harry can be seen having fun with the royal members, giggling and having a chat with them.

Harry, who left his royal duties in March 2020, did not play any formal role in the historic event as he's not a working royal member.

If reports are to be believed, Harry left for the USA just after the ceremony ended for his son Archie's birthday, who turned four. A source told Page Six that Harry intended to make "every effort to get back in time for Archie's birthday".
