The error was noticed prior to the departure of the aircraft, and the standby passenger was de-boarded. This led to a slight delay in the departure of the aircraft. IndiGo will take all measures to strengthen its operational processes and regrets the inconvenience caused to customers,”&nbsp;the spokesperson said.</p>

<p>He added that the pilot attempted landing twice, but could not do it due to bad weather "and still wasted a lot of time" deciding the next course of action.</p>

Taking to social media platform Reddit, the passenger shared his terrible experience. He said he was served spinach and corn sandwich onboard a flight from Bengaluru to Chennai on February 1. However, he opened it only after reaching the destination.</p>

<p>When he asked IndiGo for compensation, he was denied on the grounds that he opened the package after de-boarding the flight. On Reddit, the customer sought advice from netizens as to how to deal with the situation.</p>

<p>As per the airport authorities, IndiGo flight 6E 2221, which departed from Amritsar for Delhi, missed the route to the taxiway after landing&nbsp;at the Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA).</p>

<p>This interrupted the flight departures from Runway 28/10 for 15 minutes.</p>

<p>To clear the runway, Indigo had to tow its aircraft, which further led to delays in the departures, reported news agency ANI citing sources.</p>

Passenger tries to remove IndiGo flight’s emergency exit cover mid-air, FIR lodged

<p>In a much-lauded gesture, Indian minister Bhagwat K. Karad rushed to the aid of a co-passenger who took sick during a flight on Monday.</p>

<p>This incident took place on IndiGo flight 6E171 from New Delhi to Mumbai. Approximately an hour after takeoff, one of the passengers, a patient of high blood pressure - identity unknown - complained of feelings of giddiness and uneasiness.</p>

<p>Karad immediately went to help his co-passenger when the airline crew appealed for any doctor aboard for help.</p>

<p>Taking advantage of the aircraft's med-kit, Karad, a surgeon, administered an injection to the patient and nipped the potential medical emergency in the bud.</p>

<p>Later, the recovered passenger appreciated the gesture of the MoS, who is a senior BJP leader from Aurangabad.</p>

<p>Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday praised the "great gesture" of the union minister of state for finance, who is a doctor by training.</p>

<p>Praising Karad's gesture the Indian PM tweeted "A doctor at heart, always! Great gesture by my colleague."</p>

<p>An airport source said, A woman passenger travelling to Delhi on Go Air flight G8 329 approached an IndiGo check-in counter at T1 and informed that there was a bomb in flight 6E 3612 (operating on Mumbai-Delhi/Lucknow route).</p>

<p>She also showed photographs of a few people and claimed that they were a "threat to the nation, the source said.</p>

<p>CISF personnel took her to the airport police station for questioning.<br />
The aircraft was taken to an isolated bay for a secondary ladder point check after a Bomb Threat Assessment Committee (BTAC) found the threat as specific, the sources said.</p>

<p>Later, security agencies declared the plane "safe", they said.</p>
