But music's biggest night -- always the event with the boldest looks -- featured a more traditional fashion parade, as many of the industry's top names attended the socially distanced gala in Los Angeles and performed.

Megan, who won three awards on the night including the coveted Grammy for Best New Artist, slayed in a bright orange strapless Dolce &amp; Gabbana gown with a high leg slit, a dramatic bow on the back -- and tons of diamonds.

Dua Lipa, who won for Best Pop Vocal Album, got the memo on the high slit -- she donned a barely there gauzy spaghetti-strap Versace confection with a pastel butterfly bodice, cut-outs and a see-through skirt.

If you are a fan of the Disney+ Marvel series “WandaVision,” there are five words that have been stuck in your head for the past week: “It was Agatha all along.”

The 62-second earworm appears in Episode 7, “Breaking the Fourth Wall,” and its purpose is simple: It explains what Wanda and Vision’s nosy neighbor, Agnes (Kathryn Hahn), has been up to this entire time. It has also taken on a life of its own, having spawned numerous trap, rock and rap remixes in the days since the episode debuted Feb 19.

“None of us knew this was going to be the song,” said composer Robert Lopez, 46, who created the songs for the series with his wife of 17 years, Oscar and Grammy-winning lyricist Kristen Anderson-Lopez, 48. “We woke up that morning to find that it was all over the internet, and it was like, ‘This is awesome.’”

It isn’t the first time the songwriting power couple has created an infectious earworm, having written tunes such as the Oscar- and Grammy-winning song “Let It Go” for the Disney animated movie “Frozen” and the Oscar-winning ballad “Remember Me” for the Pixar animated film “Coco.” They’ve won a pile of Oscars, Emmys, Tonys and Grammys between them. (Lopez, who co-conceived and co-wrote the hit musicals “Avenue Q” and “The Book of Mormon,” is in rarefied air as the only double EGOT — someone who has won an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony, twice over.)

But it is a minute-long riff on “The Munsters” theme that has burned itself into the brains of the collective internet over the past week.

 
“It’s got an ‘Addams Family’ twist with an electric harpsichord,” Anderson-Lopez said. “It’s super-duper cool and feels like something you’d find in a haunted house.”

Sung by Hahn and a chorus of male backup singers (including Lopez), it delivers the dramatic revelation that Agnes is the powerful witch Agatha Harkness — and that it is she, not Wanda (Elizabeth Olsen), who is behind all the oddities happening in sleepy little Westview. (Having killed a dog, she reveals, was among her dastardly deeds.)

When the song debuted on Spotify and iTunes on Tuesday, it leaped to the No. 1 slot on the iTunes soundtrack charts. (The trap remix created by hip-hop artist Leland Philpot is “the most glorious thing,” Anderson-Lopez said.) 
 
In a phone interview from Connecticut on Wednesday, Anderson-Lopez and Lopez shared how the track came together, their trick for getting their own songs out of their own heads and why Hahn’s character is “perfidious” rather than “hideous.” These are edited excerpts from the conversation.

Q: Did you have any idea “Agatha All Along” was going to blow up like this?

ROBERT LOPEZ: No, not at all. We were sort of sad that we were winding down and we didn’t know if we’d have any hits come out of this thing. But my goodness.

Q: What part of the song came to you first?

LOPEZ: We have a theme — the “WandaVision” motif — that’s in every single song. So that was how we began with “Agatha.”

KRISTEN ANDERSON-LOPEZ: But, in a way, “Agatha All Along” was there all along. We’ve been spoon-feeding a tritone that’s called the devil’s interval — the&nbsp; 'duh-duh-duh'&nbsp;— throughout the series. And then ultimately, when the big reveal happens with the 'DUH! DUH! DUH!', everyone had been hearing it steadily, so it felt like an old friend.

Q: Where did you look for inspiration for the song?

LOPEZ: We started with a different idea for a version of the song more along the lines of “That Girl.”

ANDERSON-LOPEZ: But it just wasn’t right; it just wasn’t churning my blood the way that I wanted it to. So then we thought: It’s a show about witches, right? So let’s embrace it. What other shows are about witches and Goth figures? “The Addams Family,” “The Munsters,” the “Monster Mash” — all these Halloween-y kind of songs that have this grinding, growling bari sax.

LOPEZ: We also have an electric harpsichord, which is what they use in “The Addams Family.” That’s the thing going dit-dit-dit-dit-dit-dit — the repeated chorus.

Q:Who does what when you’re writing a song?

LOPEZ: It changes with every song. Sometimes we’ll write it together in the same room, sometimes one of us will write the whole thing and the other one will take credit. In this case, Kristen wrote the full lyrics and gave them to me on a sheet of paper, and then I went to town with music.

ANDERSON-LOPEZ: I would wake up in the morning, and sometimes I’d be so excited to write the songs that I would write them in the shower. Get out, get a towel, scribble them on a piece of paper with drips, blurring ink — and Bobby would compose them by 10 a.m., and we’d record them after lunch, and then get notes at like 5 p.m.

Q:“Perfidious” is quite the lyric! Where did that come from?

ANDERSON-LOPEZ: We knew we didn’t want to say "hideous," because Agatha is still hot. So I looked at a rhyming dictionary and was like: “'Perfidious!' It’s so great! It’s so perfect!”

LOPEZ: We always have an SAT word in the lyrics somewhere because people appreciate learning a word. And if they already know it, they appreciate being able to brag that they know it.

Meet the songwriters behind the 'WandaVision' hit 'Agatha All Along'

Music mogul Clive Davis has postponed his bit for the scheduled pre-Grammy Awards 2021 gala as he recovered from Bell’s palsy.&nbsp;

According to media reports, Clive Davis is now recovering as he received the diagnosis a week ago. Clive Davis’ representative, Sean Cassidy said, "He's being treated with antibiotics and is expected to make a full recovery in six to eight weeks at which point, he plans to host the second installment of his virtual pre-Grammy gala. Clive is obviously disappointed to delay the evening as it's shaping up to be as big as the first. However, he feels great otherwise and is looking forward to the May event."

Bell's palsy is a condition characterized by muscle weakness that often causes one side of the face to droop. It is often a reaction to a viral infection. It’s not from COVID-19 for Clive Davis. Bell's palsy often resolves on its own and the condition can be helped through physical therapy and treatment from a medical doctor.

It was previously announced that Clive Davis will host two pre-Grammy Awards events in the wake of most things going virtual owing to the pandemic.

"The deteriorating COVID situation in Los Angeles, with hospital services being overwhelmed, ICUs having reached capacity, and new guidance from state and local governments have all led us to conclude that postponing our show was the right thing to do," it added. 
 
The postponement was earlier reported by Rolling Stone magazine and Variety and the Recording Academy had told its members in a memo that the new date would be March 21. 
 
Los Angeles is experiencing a spike in coronavirus deaths and hospital admissions. Gyms, hair salons and restaurants have been shut down and residents urged to stay at home as much as possible.

In her acceptance speech, she said, “I’m so proud to be part of a movie that addresses mental health issues,” adding, “A lot of artists deal with that.And we got to take care of each other.". 
 
This was during her speech while receiving her second award for the night. 
 
‘A Star Is Born’ tells the story of a rising star (Gaga) and her falling mentor, played by Bradley Cooper, who struggles with substance abuse problems and severe depression.

Rappers Kendrick Lamar and Drake may lead the nominations, but Sunday's Grammy Awards looks set to be a showcase for girl power.

Outspoken rapper Cardi B, whose music and personal life has dominated pop culture for the past two years, leads the charge on music's biggest night with a live performance and five Grammy nominations, including for album and record of the year.

R&amp;B singer Alicia Keys will host the Grammys for the first time, while Miley Cyrus, Janelle Monae, Camila Cabello and Kacey Musgraves are also among the performers at the Los Angeles ceremony.

Adding to the star power, Motown legend Diana Ross will take the stage to mark her 75th birthday in March, and hopes are high that Lady Gaga will perform her Grammy and Oscar-nominated song 'Shallow' from the movie 'A Star is Born.'

Yet Cardi B is likely to grab most of the attention. The 26-year-old New York artist is one of only a handful of female rappers and has captured attention with her message of female empowerment, on and off marriage to rapper Offset, and a string of hit records and collaborations, including 'I Like It,' 'Girls Like You' and 'Taki Taki.'

"Cardi B is a very strong woman who is in control of her career. She is really talented and has something to say and she is just fun. She is like a breath of fresh air," said Melinda Newman, West Coast editor for Billboard magazine.

"Between Alicia Keys and all the female nominees, I think we will have a very female-leading show. That's not necessarily by design, that's just how it's shaking out this year," Newman added.

It is a far cry from 2018, when the dearth of female nominees and performers caused a media uproar and prompted the Recording Academy, whose members choose the Grammy winners, to expand the number of nominees in the top four categories to eight from five.

This year five of the eight nominees for the coveted album of the year award are women - Cardi B's 'Invasion of Privacy,' Janelle Monae's 'Dirty Computer', folk singer Brandi Carlile's 'By the Way, I Forgive You,' country artist Kacey Musgraves' 'Golden Hour' and R&amp;B newcomer H.E.R.'s self-titled 'H.E.R.'

Six of the eight musicians competing for the&nbsp;best new artist are also women, including 'New Rules' British singer Dua Lipa, Chloe &amp; Halle, Bebe Rexha and H.E.R.

While the show may give the impression that girls run the world, there is no guarantee how many will take home a Grammy.

Lamar leads with eight nods, many of them for writing most of the 'Black Panther' movie soundtrack album, which is up for album of the year. Drake, the most commercially successful artist of 2018, follows with seven nominations, including for his album 'Scorpion' and single 'God's Plan.'

Speaking to Mid-Day, Snatam said, "For Beloved, I spent a good amount of time developing the pieces because I wanted each to be one that people could connect with, listen to and chant along to. In the Sikh tradition, there's a reference to (a principle called) call of response. It's not about one person's performance. There's a community response [that's required]. So, in this album, [I've kept] enough space for people to sing and chant.”

Falguni is competing for her album Falu's Bazaar that is packed with Indian flavours, like the track Masala (where she decodes Indian spices for her son), or a Gujarati lullaby crooned by her mother.

The third musician, Prashant Mistry is a London-based singer who is nominated in the Best Immersive Audio Album category. He describes it as "a call to empathy in times when powerful forces are trying their best to drive us apart."&nbsp;

The 61st Grammy Awards will be held on February 10.

Grammys 2019: Three Indian-origin musicians in race for the coveted award

Singer Bebe Rexha has earned her first Grammy nominee in the Best New Artist category. While the singer is happy and excited to have gotten nominated, she is facing complications in finding a designer to dress her up.&nbsp; 
 
The singer claims that some of the prominent designers have snubbed her requests to create a dress for her because she is "too big". 
 
The 29-year-old pop star, who is nominated for New Artist and Country Duo/Group Performance at the Grammys, took to Instagram to slam designers for not wanting to work with her on a custom made gown.&nbsp; 
 
"So I finally get nominated at the Grammys and it's like the coolest thing ever. And a lot of times artists will go and talk to designers and they'll make them custom dresses to walk the red carpet ... So I had my team hit out a lot of designers and a lot of them do not want to dress me because I'm too big," she said in a video posted on Instagram. 
 
The singer said she is angry that the designers are giving out the message that anyone who is size eight and above is not ''beautiful''. 
 
''If a size 6-8, is too big, then I don't know what to tell you. Then I don't want to wear your f***ing dresses. 'Cause that's crazy ... You're saying that all the women in the world that are size 8 and up are not beautiful, and they cannot wear your dresses" she added.&nbsp;
