“I stepped out for an industry party after 19-20 years because it was an industry party and not a group party. Ramesh Taurani is a good person. Over the years, Bollywood parties have become these group parties, and if you don’t belong to a certain group (camp), you aren’t invited. If you are not seen at these parties, it is assumed that you aren’t social, which is wrong. I am not anti-social at all, and I don’t believe in groups. Back then, people used to say Govinda, Shakti Kapoor, Karisma Kapoor and David Dhawan are a group. I didn’t agree with that either. We are all artistes who worked together,” he said.&nbsp;<br />

<strong>What happened between Govinda and David?</strong></p>

<p>Govinda and David are one of the most iconic director-actor duos of&nbsp;Bollywood, and together they have produced several blockbuster films. However, their partnership soured when David opted to cast Rishi Kapoor in<em> Chashme Baddoor</em> instead of Govinda.<br />

"When I completed 17 films with him, I told him the subject of <em>Chashme Baddoor</em> and he started the film with Rishi Kapoor. And when he was shooting the film, I called him and he said, 'Tu sun toh mein kaise film bana raha hoon.Then I said, 'Tu mujhe kehta toh - subject bhi utha lia" said Govinda.<br />

I heard David saying, 'Chi-Chi (Govinda's nickname) is questioning a lot.' He was telling my secretary, 'I do not want to work with Govinda anymore. Tell him to do some small bit roles.' This shocked me and I decided never to work with him. After 4-5 months, I again rang him up just to find out if he would give me a guest appearance in his film. He then never rang me back. I am revealing this in public after so many years. I think he is under somebody's influence. I do not think he is that same David Dhawan who I used to know."&nbsp;<br />

On Wednesday, the CBFC filed an affidavit in HC, stating the board had taken strong objection to how 'Rangeela Raja' glorifies violence and objectified women through the actions of its hero. &nbsp;"He is shown as having no repentance of his actions and crimes, including rape, adultery and treating women as a commodity for his sensual pleasures," the affidavit further states.&nbsp;<br />

The CBFC also stated that the film objectifies women. The film body has demanded cuts in dialogues in which a woman is referred to as “<em>kadak</em><em> </em><em>ghevar</em>” (a bold woman) and another in which the hero, after a raping a woman, refers to the rape as “<em>swadishth</em><em> khana</em>” (delicious food).<br />

CBFC also states that film effectively glorifies hero's misogyny. While in the climax the hero is shown to repent and apologise but in the end scene, &nbsp;he goes back to lying to his family and harassing women.<br />

The video was shot on May 12, 2018 during a ‘sangeet night’ of Sanjeev’s brother-in-law in Gwalior. Sanjeev is a 46-year-old electronics professor from Madhya Pradesh. <p>The 46-year-old professor said that he is a die-hard fan of actor Govinda.</p>

<p>In the video, Srivastava, who has been rechristened by netizens as 'Dancing Uncle', could be seen dancing to Govinda's chartbuster song-- "Aap Ke Aa Jane Se" from the 1987 movie Khudgarz.</p>

<p>Talking to ANI, a very elated Srivastava shared his amazement on the sudden fame.</p>

<p>The middle-aged dancing uncle said, "This is an unreal feeling. I can't believe my dance video has gone viral. I thank everyone for the love and support. I have been dancing since 1982 and my idol is Govinda ji. Now I hope to get more opportunities."</p>

<p>"It is a big thing for me that so many people have liked me, and I thank them from the bottom of my heart. I am extremely happy that people like Raveena Tandon, our chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan have liked my dance. I have learnt to dance from my mother and Govinda is my role model."</p>

<p>Srivastava has garnered so much popularity that Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister took to Twitter to praise Srivastava's electric performance. <p>"Not the Mallya card, the Mallya calendar. The entire look, feel, appearance and rhythm of the song sequence is based on the Kingfisher calendars. As for Govinda playing who you say he is playing, let`s just keep the suspense going. I am neither denying nor admitting it," Nihalani said to a news agency.</p>

<p>'Rangeela Raja', which opens in August, reunites Govinda and Nihalani after 35 years.</p>

<p>"It felt just like old times when we shot together for his debut film `Ilzaam`. Govinda is fitter now than he has ever been. And Chinni Prakash who has done many of Govinda`s dances in my films gave Govinda steps this time that only Govinda can do. No concession for age. And Govinda wasn`t looking for easier steps," said Nihalani.</p>
