<p>Trump’s attorneys have claimed that the judge unfairly ruled against the former president, made “bias” comments during the trial and exceeded his discretion is working with his clerk, who has donated to organisations they allege are supporting New York Attorney General Letitia James and others that oppose Trump in excess of contribution limits.</p>

<p>But in 2020, the last year of Trump's term in the White House, his niece Mary Trump released recordings of Barry speaking critically about the then-president.</p>

<p>"Donald's out for Donald," Barry said in the recordings. "His goddamned tweet and lying, oh my God.</p>

<p>"I'm talking too freely, but you know. The change of stories. The lack of preparation.</p>

<p>"He has no principles. None. None."</p>

<p>Trump was reportedly furious and deeply hurt by the comments.</p>

<p>A probe into Barry's alleged judicial misconduct was dropped when she retired in 2019, in the middle of an investigation into the family's tax records. She denied any wrongdoing.</p>

<p>Trump, 77, who hopes to win back the White House next year, lost his younger brother&nbsp;Robert S. Trump in 2020, while his first wife,&nbsp;Ivana Trump, died in 2022.</p>

<p>Another measure from Trump would be to reinstate his ban on individuals from certain Muslim-majority countries entering the United States. The new policies would also include a refusal of asylum claims, the way it was ushered during COVID-19.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Trump also referred to a residential development in Aberdeen and said, "I just don't want to build it now. You've probably read that I'm doing other things."</p>

<p>During his testimony, Trump admitted that his company provided inaccurate property value estimates to banks. He said that properties like his Mar-a-Lago estate and Doral golf course in Florida were undervalued, while others like his Trump Tower residence in New York and his Seven Springs estate were overvalued.&nbsp;</p>

<p>However, the former president claimed that it should not matter as the property estimates stated that they might not be accurate, and banks did not take them seriously.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Former United States president Donald Trump has claimed that Imran Khan, the ex-prime minister of Pakistan, was celebrating the death of Iranian military commander Qasem Soleimani in 2020. Trump's remarks came this week when he was addressing a campaign rally in Houston, Texas.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Former US president Donald Trump clashed with the judge on Monday (November 6) as he testified in court in the New York civil fraud case, as he became the first former US president to testify as a defendant in more than a century. His court appearance came just a year before presidential elections take place in the US.</p>

<p>As Trump (77) testified, he accused Judge Arthur Engoron of issuing "fraudulent" verdicts. He lashed out at New York State Attorney General Letitia James as a "political hack". James has brought the case against Trump which threatens to severely affect his real estate empire.</p>

<p>"He called me a fraud and he did not know anything about me," Trump said of the judge, who was sitting right next to him, before calling the trial a "political witch hunt."</p>

<p>The former president was admonished by the judge as he testified in court.</p>

<p>"This is not a political rally," said Judge Engoron. "Please, just answer the questions, no speeches."</p>

<p>A visibly angry Engoron even told Trump's lawyer at one point to "control your client."</p>

<p>For his court appearance on Monday, Trump was dressed in a dark blue suit and tie and wore an American flag on his lapel. He said that it was a "crazy trial" and it was "very unfair". He alleged that the case was brought against him by Democrats "coming after me from 15 different sides."</p>

<p>It has been alleged that Trump, his sons Don Jr and Eric and other executives in the Trump Organization inflated the value of their real estate assets by billions of dollars in order to obtain favourable bank loans and insurance terms.</p>

<p>Trump denied allegations that his company's financial statements were fraudulent.</p>

<p>"They were not really documents that the banks paid much attention to," he said, adding that the value of the "Trump brand" was not considered in the valuation of assets.</p>

<p>"I became president because of my brand," said Trump as he was being questioned by Kevin Wallace, the lawyer who represented the New York attorney general's office.</p>

<p>Trump has repeatedly lashed out at James, who is African American, and has even called her a "racist." The former president has also gone after Judge Engoron, who presided over proceedings during Trump's testimony. <p>Calling Trump "a dangerous, unhinged demagogue" he said that the ex-president's "brazen disdain for the rules, norms, laws and institutions or democracy should be disqualifying" adding that "the stakes of miscalculation here are too dramatic to ignore."</p>

<p>Leaving the decision to Biden, he said if the 80-year-old continues to run, he will be the Democrat party's nominee, but that he "needs to decide is whether that is wise; whether it's in HIS best interest or the country's?"</p>
