It so turned out that both Arjun and Ayushmann had some work in Madrid while Cristiano was in the same city as he is gearing up for UEFA Champions League final match between Real Madrid and Liverpool on May 27 in Kiev, Ukraine.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The two young actors had a great time interacting with Cristiano as they spoke about his&nbsp;impending visit to India, Cristiano’s interest in movies, football and more. Ayushmann was on a brand shoot for American Tourister -- a brand that Cristiano endorses too. Their meeting was arranged by the brand itself.&nbsp;</p>

It is also said that Arjun Kapoor will play the lead role in the film. Arjun loved the script and Raj Kumar has demanded start-to-finish dates because he wants to shoot in one go without any distractions. Since Arjun has already committed to three yet-to-release films — Vipul Shah’s romcom Namaste England alongside Parineeti Chopra, Ashutosh Gowariker’s battle royal Panipat with Sanjay Dutt and the Hindi remake of the Telugu Blockbuster Arjun Reddy — he is working out his dates. When the Marathas went up North under Sadashivrao&rsquo;s leadership, Parvatibai was the one who escorted her husband and even got the other women in the Maratha camp to do pilgrimage at Mathura and Vrindavan. The film scheduled to go on floors in mid-2018 will see Arjun Kapoor play the Maratha army’s leader Sadashivrao Bhau, Kriti Sanon will be seen as his second wife, Parvatibai and Sanjay Dutt will play the antagonist, Ahmad Shah Durrani who led the Afghans to victory. As per a report published in a daily, the film will majorly revolve around Arjun and Sanjay’s characters. The report states: "Kriti will essay the role of Sadashivrao’s second wife Parvatibai. While the Maratha warrior marched towards the Afghans at the war, she was a constant support to Sadashivrao. When the Marathas went up North under Sadashivrao’s leadership, Parvatibai was the one who escorted her husband and even got the other women in the Maratha camp to do pilgrimage at Mathura and Vrindavan. Not just that, Parvatibai was also present when the final battle was fought." In an interview earlier, filmmaker Ashutosh said, "I shared screen space with Sanjay in Naam (1986), which was a memorable co-acting experience. It will be great to direct such a versatile and talented actor" while talking about Arjun he said, "What impresses me most about Arjun, apart from his fine performances, is his dynamism. My mother never poisoned me against what he has done.” When asked if he had anything against Sridevi, he explained, "That’s something I am sure I have had various degrees of emotions towards her and him. Sridevi death: Deepika, Ranveer, Kamal Haasan visit Anil Kapoor's residence

<p>Bringing an end to the ongoing debate on when <a href="http://www.wionews.com/india-news/sridevi-1963-2018-bollywoods-chandni-gone-too-soon-33963" target="_blank">Sridevi&#39;s</a> mortal remains will reach India from Dubai, the&nbsp;Dubai Public Prosecution has now given a nod.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The Dubai Police handed over to the Indian Consulate and the family members of Boney Kapoor, the letters for the release of the mortal remains of&nbsp;Sridevi. As per the procedure, her&nbsp;body can now proceed for embalming.</p>

The past three days have been daunting for the Kapoor family as the Dubai Police took time to investigate the case and hand over Sridevi&#39;s mortal remains to her family as they had &#39;formalities&#39; to clear.&nbsp;<br />

Dubai Public Prosecutors Office has closed the investigation into Sridevi's death and cited the forensic report to say she had accidentally drowned following loss of consciousness. After investigating, they ruled out any kind of foul play in the case. 6. Actor Arjun Kapoor flew to Dubai on Tuesday morning to be with his father Boney Kapoor and complete the formalities to bring the body back. 7. <p>The film teams him up with his <em>Ishqzaade</em> co-star Parineeti Chopra which was the actor&#39;s debut film. Produced by Yash Raj Films, the film is scheduled to release in August 2018. Banerjee&#39;s film has Chopra and Kapoor playing diametrically opposite characters who hate each other. Kapoor has reportedly undergone special training to get into the skin of his character.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Kapoor was last seen on the big screen in Anees Bazmee&#39;s <em>Mubarakan</em> which also featured his uncle, actor Anil Kapoor. The film was declared a box office hit. Meanwhile, Parineeti Chopra&#39;s recently released<em> Golmaal Returns&nbsp;</em>is on its way to create history. The film has already earned Rs 165 crores at the box office and trade pundits have predicted that the film would be earning Rs 200 crore by the end of this week. The two actors, who started their career together, will also feature in Vipul Shah&#39;s next <em>Namastey Canada.&nbsp;</em></p>

Actor Arjun Kapoor is all set to play a Delhi Cop in Dibakar Banerjee's next film Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar. The actor shared the first look of his character on Twitter on Tuesday. 10th film 1 truth...Change is the only constant !!! Produced by Yash Raj Films, the film is scheduled to release in August 2018. Banerjee's film has Chopra and Kapoor playing diametrically opposite characters who hate each other. Kapoor has reportedly undergone special training to get into the skin of his character. Kapoor was last seen on the big screen in Anees Bazmee's Mubarakan which also featured his uncle, actor Anil Kapoor. The film was declared a box office hit. Meanwhile, Parineeti Chopra's recently released Golmaal Returns is on its way to create history. The film has already earned Rs 165 crores at the box office and trade pundits have predicted that the film would be earning Rs 200 crore by the end of this week. The two actors, who started their career together, will also feature in Vipul Shah's next Namastey Canada.

Starring Arjun Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor in the lead, Half Girlfriend is based on the popular author Chetan Bhagat&rsquo;s (who is also one of the producers here) best-selling novel by the same name. It is directed by Mohit Suri, who is known for making films like Kalyug, Raaz 2, Awarapan, Aashiqui 2. After 2 States, will Chetan Bhagat prove lucky for Arjun Kapoor once again? <p><strong>What&rsquo;s it about</strong></p>

<p>I haven&rsquo;t read the book, neither am a huge fan of the author, but there&rsquo;s something about the story of a clash of languages, ideologies, and love in the midst of it all that sort of drew my attention and got me curious to watch Half Girlfriend. Also the fact that an extremely urban Arjun Kapoor taking the risk of playing a rural boy struggling to speak an unfamiliar dialect, was reason enough to watch the film. Half Girlfriend is the story of Madhav Jha (Arjun) whose aspiration is to get admission in an English speaking college to pursue his passion for sports. Despite his linguistic challenge, Madhav is a sort of a prince in his own town in Bihar. A chance meeting with Riya (Shraddha Kapoor) who&rsquo;s the polar opposite to him in every sense, makes him realise that despite the communication challenges she&rsquo;s his destiny. But Riya isn&rsquo;t the sort to commit and even when she does, it&rsquo;s only partial &ndash; therein the concept of Half Girlfriend. The film is dramatic and over the top in certain scenes but where it connects with you is in the moments when Madhav exposes his vulnerability towards Riya. The second half is set in New York and full of trademark Mohit Suri tunes which have already made their mark on the charts.</p>

<p><strong>What&rsquo;s hot</strong></p>

<p>Half Girlfriend primarily works because of its lead pair and the conviction they bring to their characters. Arjun goes beyond the nuances of the accent and body language and digs deep to find a place he can reach to make Madhav believable. You sort of lose track of the cool and hip Arjun in the innocence and even rage of the rural Madhav. Despite the dramatic lines and phrases, Arjun uses his silence and speaks the most in the pauses when he&rsquo;s fumbling to communicate his feelings to Shraddha. Shraddha, despite delivering hits with Aditya Roy Kapoor and Sidharth Malhotra, manages to have a genuinely likeable and convincing chemistry with Arjun. Her scene where Madhav tries to force himself on her is terrific. Mohit&rsquo;s technique of creating stand out scenes that blend in with the overall plotline is commendable. The music of Half Girlfriend is already a rage and the songs do play an important part in taking the story forward. Vikrant Massey in the role of Madhav&rsquo; s roommate is terrific.</p>

<p><strong>What&rsquo;s not</strong></p>

<p>The first half has a better structure and seems more cohesive than what follows post the interval. There are some jarring and over the top moments that somewhat kill the feel of an organic love story that was beautifully coming together in the beginning. Also the portions before the big climax revelation are too jumpy, and feel disconnected. Suri takes more than just cinematic liberty to make the iconic India Gate look like a prop to have his characters mingle and chat!</p>

<p><strong>What to do</strong></p>

<p>Half Girlfriend has full drama and works primarily due to Arjun Kapoor&rsquo;s stellar performance and his crackling chemistry with Shraddha Kapoor.</p>
