<p>In the latest ebook by Sadhguru, "Bha-ra-ta: The Rhythm of a Nation", he explores&nbsp;the science behind Bharat, India's original name. In one of the interviews regarding his&nbsp;book, when he was asked why "Bharat" matters,&nbsp;Sadhguru elaborated, "Bharat comes from bha – ra – ta. Bhava means sensation. Seeing, hearing, smelling, tasting, and touching are different types of sensations. Your whole experience of life is sensory right now. Bha means sensation, out of which emotion arises. Ra means raga or the tune. The tune is not yours – existence has already set it. Now you have to find the rhythm, which is the tala. If you find the right rhythm, you are a fantastic human being. If you miss the rhythm, you get crushed by the process of life."</p>

He mentioned that the pandemic increased Indians’ quest for personal luxury while restricting travel, forcing them to purchase these items domestically. For luxury brands, he said, “there’s clearly a desire to look for a new frontier, and India very much, with its change, offers that.”</p>

<p>By 2027, around 1.66 million Indians are anticipated to have a net worth of above $1 million. According to Knight Frank’s Wealth Report, the group of people with $30 million in their bank accounts is expected to increase by approximately 60 per cent in the five years starting in 2022.</p>

<p>The new Sabyasachi store is prime example of how, many of the city’s heritage buildings have performed many functions over the course of their existence. Early in 2021, Indian City Properties refurbished the building, a Grade IIA heritage-designated structure with neoclassical architecture, and purchased it from HSBC Bank. According to Indian City Properties, it was created in 1913 by the architectural company Chambers &amp; Fritchley for the British Bank of the Middle East, one of the 37 banks that were located in the region that later came to be known as the bank district.</p>

<p>Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Ltd., which acquired a 51 per cent ownership in the business with an all-cash acquisition in 2021, has helped Sabyasachi, noted for its lavish bridal dresses and jewellery, develop. According to records with the Bombay Stock Exchange, the investment aided Aditya Birla in its most recent quarter. Although the firm reported a loss for the three months ended in June, Sabysaschi’s income increased and sales have had “good traction” at the Mumbai store.</p>

Luxury retailers are investing in India’s new wealthy. Here's why 

<p>India's External Affairs Minister Dr S. Jaishankar addressed the controversy surrounding the G-20 invitation cards that gave rise to speculations that the government is intending to drop 'India' as one of the official names of the world's largest democracy and replace it with just 'Bharat', the ancient name that came to identify much of the modern-day India.</p>

<p>"India, that is Bharat - it is there in the Constitution. I would invite everybody to read it," Jaishankar told news agency ANI ahead of New Delhi G-20 summit.</p>

<p>"When you say Bharat, in a sense, a meaning and an understanding and a connotation comes with it and I think that is reflected in our Constitution as well," he added.</p>

<p>Jammu and Kashmir government has decided to provide UID (Unique Identification Number) to over 200,000 Srinagar households. The government said that this will help them store the data of every household including their address, number of family members, their electricity and water bills along with other necessary information.</p>

<p>According to the government, it's being done under the Digital India programme where all the details of the residents including the details of the property, like the nature of the property, dimensions of the property, and location will be saved.</p>

<p>However, the locals of Srinagar city are apprehensive that it is the first step towards implementation of the property tax in the valley.&nbsp;</p>

<p>''Earlier, when you used to visit a government office you needed to give all your details and it would take hours. In digital time, there should be no need for that, we don't want any queues in offices, everything can be done online. We are number one in the number of online services provided in the Union territory. People need to be aware that they don't need to visit offices, but all services will be provided online. This will benefit the locals a lot. The idea is that locals need not come to us for work, while the government will go to them, '' said Arun Kumar Mehta, Chief Secretary, JK.&nbsp;</p>

Srinagar Municipality Commissioner Ather Aamir said that every house in the city that falls under the jurisdiction of Srinagar will be given a unique ID number which will help to locate the address of any person easily while clearing that it has nothing to do with the property tax as that is a separate issue.&nbsp;</p>

<p>''We have done surveys of over 230,000 premises. We have checked whether the properties are residential or commercial. The drainage, water, and electricity system has been checked. We have numbered the streets. It's a digital planning of the city. Now we will put a metal board outside every house, and it will have a QR code, this will create a better system of planning. Tax is a separate part, irrespective of that. This is a modern way of improving services," said Athar Aamir, Commissioner, of Srinagar Municipality.&nbsp;</p>

India: J&K govt to provide unique identification for over 200,000 Srinagar households

<p>In a potential&nbsp;overhaul that could reset the central identification point of the Indian Republic, top Bharatiya Janata Party leader and Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma hinted that the official name of the Indian Republic is set to be changed.<br />

<p>Sarma's post on 'X' was interpreted by many as the ruling party's leader's confirmation of reports which claimed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi's government is set to bring a resolution to effect a potential change of name&nbsp;during the scheduled special session of Indian parliament later this month.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Jairam Ramesh, the leader of India's principal opposition party Congress, also took to X and pointed out that an invite for a state dinner from Rashtrapati Bhawan — the official residence of the President of India&nbsp;— was sent as that from the 'President of Bharat' and not 'President of India', as was the case before.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"So the news is indeed true," Jairam Ramesh wrote on X.</p>

<p>"Rashtrapati Bhawan has sent out an invite for a G20 dinner on Sept 9th in the name of 'President of Bharat' instead of the usual 'President of India'."</p>

<p>"Now, Article 1 in the Constitution can read: 'Bharat, that was India, shall be a Union of States.'&nbsp;But now even this 'Union of States'&nbsp;is under assault," Ramesh added.&nbsp;</p>

'Republic of Bharat': Chorus grows to rename India as it was known in ancient times

<p>In a dangerous incident on Monday (September 4), a man en route to Kedarnath in Uttarakhand got stuck into the Mandakini River while attempting to capture a selfie from a bridge. Fortunately, locals and the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) came to his rescue and saved his life, media reports said. As per reports, the man was on the bridge along the old pedestrian route at Rambada. At this point, he lost his balance and plunged into the turbulent Mandakini river. The sudden fall left him stranded amidst the relentless current, prompting desperate cries for assistance.</p>

<h2><strong>Dramatic rescue operation unfolds</strong></h2>

<p>A video of the incident is now going viral on social media platforms showing the harrowing incident that unfolded on Monday. The video shows the man's struggle to cling to large boulders while battling the powerful river currents.</p>

<p>Working together, the rescuers employed ropes to reach the distressed individual and managed to pull him to a safer location against the forceful river flow. After a heart-pounding rescue operation, the unidentified man was successfully brought to safety.</p>

<p>Fortunately, he sustained no serious injuries in this harrowing selfie mishap on his Kedarnath pilgrimage. There are other incidents as well wherein people have attempted risky or dangerous stunts to capture an impressive selfie.&nbsp;</p>

<p>In a separate incident in January this year, a&nbsp;man trying to click selfies on the Vande Bharat Express was stuck in the train as he ran out of time and the automatic doors closed behind him. This Andhra Pradesh resident boarded the Vande Bharat Express at Rajahmundry station in order to take a selfie.</p>

<p>The train was running from Visakhapatnam to Secunderabad. The man, after being stuck in the coach,&nbsp;had to wait till the train arrived in Vijayawada before getting off and returning to Rajahmundry. During the incident, one of the ticket collectors can be heard mentioning that Vijayawada is the next station in the video that had gone viral on social media.</p>

<p>Chief PRO, South Central Railway, in conversation to one of the media outlets, said at the time that the incident took place on January 16 when a man got into Vande Bharat Express train at Rajahmundry Railway Station to take a selfie. In a dangerous incident on Monday (September 4), a man en route to Kedarnath in Uttarakhand got stuck into the Mandakini River while attempting to capture a selfie from a bridge. Fortunately, locals and the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) came to his rescue and saved his life, media reports said. As per reports, the man was on the bridge along the old pedestrian route at Rambada. At this point, he lost his balance and plunged into the turbulent Mandakini river. The sudden fall left him stranded amidst the relentless current, prompting desperate cries for assistance. Dramatic rescue operation unfolds A video of the incident is now going viral on social media platforms showing the harrowing incident that unfolded on Monday. The video shows the man's struggle to cling to large boulders while battling the powerful river currents. Locals and SDRF save the day Working together, the rescuers employed ropes to reach the distressed individual and managed to pull him to a safer location against the forceful river flow. After a heart-pounding rescue operation, the unidentified man was successfully brought to safety. There are other incidents as well wherein people have attempted risky or dangerous stunts to capture an impressive selfie. This Andhra Pradesh resident boarded the Vande Bharat Express at Rajahmundry station in order to take a selfie. The man, after being stuck in the coach, had to wait till the train arrived in Vijayawada before getting off and returning to Rajahmundry. During the incident, one of the ticket collectors can be heard mentioning that Vijayawada is the next station in the video that had gone viral on social media. Chief PRO, South Central Railway, in conversation to one of the media outlets, said at the time that the incident took place on January 16 when a man got into Vande Bharat Express train at Rajahmundry Railway Station to take a selfie.
