When you think of number 10 and cricket together then only one name comes to mind...which is Sachin Tendulkar, who is often regarded as the 'God of Cricket'. Tendulkar made the jersey number 10 significant in cricket, otherwise, it is a popular shirt number in football.
Tendulkar was the first Indian cricketer to wear number 10 jersey. Initially, he used to wear the 99 number later switched to the number 10 and made popular in the cricket scenario.

But Sachin is not the only cricketer to wear the iconic number, here are other names who also wear the same number.
Before Tendulkar, former Australian cricketer Stuart Law donned jersey number 10. Stuart Law, who is also a cricket coach, has played one Test and 54 One Day Internationals (ODIs) for Australia.

Shahid Afridi, the former Pakistani cricketer and one of the most successful all-rounders of all times, also wore the number 10 jersey. Afridi is recently making headlines for his autobiography for lying about his age.
From 2004-05, Darren Lehmann, the former Australian cricketer wore jersey number 10 in his career, although his official jersey number was 25. He is a former coach of Australian cricket team but stepped down of the post in 2017 after a ball-tampering scandal that involved three players.
Former New Zealand cricketer Craig McMillan, who played all forms of cricket for his national team, too wore the iconic number. He is currently the New Zealand batting coach and also a commentator.
Former English cricketer Geraint Jones, who also played for Papua New Guinea, wore jersey number 10 in his career.
Australian cricketer Peter Siddle also donned the jersey number 10. The pacer currently plays for Victoria in first-class and List A cricket and for the Adelaide Strikers in the Big Bash League and was recently recalled for the Test series against Pakistan in 2018.
After Sachin, the Indian cricketer Shardul Thakur wore the number 10 but it did not go down well with the fans. He faced severe backlash for the same.
