A Kerala-based tech CEO has made headlines after spending nearly Rs 4.5 crore on a luxury car and a fancy number plate. Venu Gopalakrishnan, the founder and CEO of Litmus 7 Systems Consulting, bought a Lamborghini Urus Performante worth around Rs 4 crore and paid another Rs 45.99 lakh to get the number plate KL 07 DG 0007.
His number plate has now become the most expensive fancy vehicle number ever sold in Kerala.

The extradition finally came through after Rana exhausted all legal avenues to stay the move,&rdquo; the NIA said in its statement. &nbsp; The District Court for the Central District of California had ordered the extradition of the Mumbai terror attacks key accused on 16th May 2023. He then filed multiple litigations in the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, all of which were rejected.

Eknath Omble, brother of 26/11 hero Tukaram Omble, hailed the extradition of Tahawwur Rana as a significant milestone, calling it a "big day". Omble urged the central government to ensure justice is served, demanding Rana's execution by hanging.
Tukaram Omble, a sub-inspector with the Mumbai Police and an Ashok Chakra awardee, held onto terrorist Ajmal Kasab's rifle, ensuring his capture, but unfortunately succumbed to bullet injuries sustained during the confrontation.&nbsp;
"Many innocent people and policemen were killed. It was a painful night. Tahawwur Rana was the closest ally of David Headley, who was the mastermind of the attack - they all should have been hanged earlier... But it's a big day for the country. I have a request from the government that he (Tahawwur Rana) should be hanged as soon as possible," Eknath Omble told ANI.
"He should be given such strict punishment that those in Pakistan who facilitate such things should think twice before committing such things... However, we tolerated the delay in Kasab's punishment because it exposed the real face of Pakistan before the world."

A bomb threat call targeting two most prominent locations in India's Delhi, on Thursday (Apr 10), was declared a hoax by the police.
According to the police, security personnel conducted thorough checks around the popular landmarks the Red Fort and Jama Masjid upon receiving the threat at around 9:03 AM (IST).
Bomb Detection Teams (BDTs) and CISF swiftly carried out full-scale inspections, said the Delhi police. However, no suspicious objects were found, and the Delhi Police and the Delhi Fire Service (DFS) declared the call a hoax.
Earlier in March, a bomb threat was reported at Delhi's Tamil Nadu Bhawan, which triggered an immediate response from the police and Delhi Fire Services. No suspicious item was found there either.
<h2>Hoax bomb threats sent to over 400 schools</h2>
Previously, the Delhi Police recently apprehended a juvenile for sending hoax bomb threats to over 400 schools in the national capital via email. This swift action brought an end to the series of alarming messages that had caused widespread concern. The police were able to track down the minor suspect.
The accused, who was a public school student, was identified and arrested following a thorough technical investigation by the Cyber Cell of the South District police.
The Delhi Police recovered a laptop and two mobile phones from the accused juvenile, which were then subjected to forensic analysis. This digital evidence confirmed the accused's involvement in sending threatening emails to numerous schools in Delhi.&nbsp;
The police used advanced technical methods to track down the accused, who had attempted to conceal his identity using anonymous and encrypted email services.

The Mumbai terror attack lasted four days from 26 to 29 November 2008, and consisted of at least 12 shootings, bombings, wayside murders and hostage-taking. Sites that came under attack included Leopold Caf&eacute;, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus, The Taj Mahal Palace Hotel, Oberoi Trident, Cama Hospital, Nariman House (also known as Chabad House housing a Jewish centre), Metro Cinema and St Xavier's College. All these were located along the seashore of Mumbai.&nbsp;At the end of the blood-curdling events, at least 175 people lay dead, including nine out of the 10 terrorists. Some of the 300 people who were injured suffered life-long damage.
On the night of November 26, the first reports emerged of random shootings by two terrorists at the Victoria Terminus railway station (later renamed Chatrapati Shivaji Terminus).&nbsp;
The choice of venue was not accidental. The station is pretty close to the seaside, where Gateway of India is located facing the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel, which was the main site of the terrorist mayhem for the next three days. It was teeming with foreign dignitaries, including European parliamentarians, at the time of the attack.
Sebastian D'Souza, a photo journalist who happened to be at the railway station, captured the first images of Ajmal Kasab, the terrorist who was shooting away at innocent passengers. Kasab, a Pakistani, would be hanged in 2012.&nbsp;

After coming to Mumbai by sea, the terrorists, reportedly 10 men, had separated into different small teams.
It later emerged that they had landed on the seashore of Colaba on inflatable speedboats, after hijacking a fishing boat and killing five people on board.
Some of them moved to nearby Leopold Cafe, shooting away at pubgoers. Even today, the cafe's walls bear the bullet marks, which they haven't hidden as a tribute to those who perished and to the spirit of Mumbai.
Another target was the Jewish Centre at Nariman House, where they killed several Jews including a rabbi.
The major attack happened inside the Taj Mahal hotel for three days, where the terrorists engaged in a long gun and bomb battle with the security forces for the remaining days after taking hostages.&nbsp;Indian commandos from National Security Guard and Marine Commando Force joined the fight. The commandos were airdropped to the Taj hotel. One of them, Sandeep Unnikrishnan, made the supreme sacrifice while fighting the terrorists.&nbsp;

News agency ANI quoting sources said that the Patiala House Court has received the trial court records related to the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks. It added that the trial court records in the NIA case which names Rana and David Coleman Headley as accused will serve as evidence.

According to Headley&rsquo;s testimony to the US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Rana permitted the establishment of a Mumbai branch of his travel agency to assist in Headley&rsquo;s mission on behalf of Lashkar-e-Taiba.&nbsp;Tahawwur Rana and David Headley were detained by the FBI at the Chicago airport in October 2009.
