According to the reports, the incident occurred around 4:45 pm near the Pahadi Gate crossing, which is considered one of the busiest intersections on the highway. Police stated that both vehicles were moving towards Bilaspur Gate. While approaching the crossing, the Bolero driver attempted to take a turn, where the truck continued to move straight at the diversion, resulting in a collision and overturning onto the Bolero.&nbsp;CCTV footage also shows that the truck driver attempted to swerve on, suddenly spotting the Bolero ahead in a bid to avoid a crash. The manoeuvre caused the truck to hit the divider, smash through it and topple onto the Bolero. The truck, laden with wooden scrap, spilt its load across the road, completely covering the smaller vehicle.

The initiative aimed to attract tourists and promote the Kashmir Valley as a vibrant winter destination. &nbsp;&nbsp;''The tourists who have turned here should become our ambassadors to send across a message of peace and love. There is a lot of hospitality which is inbuilt in the Kashmiris. And the stakeholders who are here are also very happy. Our mission is to welcome the tourists. Respondent shall not be released from custody pursuant to the impugned order. Victim has a statutory right to file separate SLP. She does not require liberty from this Court. If she requires free legal aid, SC Legal Service Committee shall provide free legal aid. Meanwhile, the India Meteorological Department issued a 'red' warning for 'very dense fog' in several parts of Delhi between 5:31 am and 8:31 am. The weather department advised people to remain careful while driving, use fog lights, cover their faces and also directed them to avoid outings unless there is an emergency.<h3>Several flights delayed&nbsp;</h3>After the heavy smog, the visibility at the Delhi airport is down to 125 meters, prompting several flights to be delayed. At least 64 flights arriving at and 64 flights departing from Delhi Airport were cancelled on Monday. 8 flights were also diverted, according to Delhi Airport.&nbsp;The &nbsp;Delhi Airport issued a passenger advisory on X (formerly Twitter) and informed that “flight operations are currently being conducted under CAT III conditions due to dense fog, which may result in delays or cancellations.”

The official told reporters that there were 82 passengers in one of the affected coaches and 76 in another when the train caught fire. The deceased was identified as 70-year-old Chandrsekhar Sundaram. The two damaged coaches were detached from the train, which proceeded towards Ernakulam. Railways also said that the passengers in the damaged coaches will be sent to their destinations.
