The driver of the front car of Vijayan's convoy put a brake to save her and as a result, all the five vehicles of his convoy collided one after another, including the CM's car.

As soon as the vehicles collided, including an ambulance, the CM's bodyguards and police officials stopped the convoy to check around. A crowd gathered at the place of the incident while the officers were seen checking on Vijayan's car.
