As the coronavirus outbreak disrupted the world, filmmakers have had to push the release dates of their films. Christopher Nolan’s 'Tenet' was pushed to the end of July, and this quickly led to others pushing their release dates as well.

On Friday, it was announced that 'Wonder Woman 1984' will be pushed to October. The film was already delayed and was set to release on August 14 but has now shifted to October 2.

The news was shared by the 'Wonder Woman'star Gal Gadot herself, she tweeted about the release date changes on Friday night.

The movieis been helmed by Patty Jenkins and is the second installment of the 2017 DC movie 'Wonder Woman', and was one of the highest gaining movie ever directed by a female, the movie grossed over $ 822M worldwide, as the sequel also stars Chris Pine, Pedro Pascal, Robin Wright, and Kristen Wiig.
