Tabu looks unrecognisable in Dune Prophecy web series' teaser; watch

Tabu's first look from Dune Prophecy

The first time we found out that Tabu willbe a part of theDune: Prophecy web series, we knew it had to be good. It’s very rare that Tabu signs up for something that is poor in quality or is a shoddily done job.

Now that the second teaser of Dune Prophecy is finally out, we can’t wait to watch it. The HBO Original show dropped its 1-minute and 10-second long teaser which expands on the Dune films. Tabu will be seen playing the role of Sister Francesca on the show.

Dune: Prophecy will take its viewers back some thousands of years before the Dune films. It focuses on Bene Gesserit.

In the teaser, we can hear Emily Watson’s character Valya Harkonnen say, “Sacrifices must be made.” The video shows how the Bene Gesserit train their sisters to exert power and have complete control over their minds. It also shows how despite having control over those in power, the sisterhood still has a long way to go before it becomes the powerhouse it is in the films.

The teaser introduces a host of characters including Tabu although we would have loved to get a cleaner look at her character as she appears for a fleeting second. Tabu can be seen dressed in an all-black ensemble with an interesting headgear. She has her arms folded and stares into the camera.

We don’t know much about her character apart from the fact that she will be a ‘strong, intelligent and alluring’ woman on the show (as reported in a previously published report in Variety).
