The Drew Barrymore Show will have to continue without three of its major writers.
The Drew Barrymore Show has got a new lease of life as makers lock the show through at least 2026. The daytime talker show has been renewed for season 6.
Season 5 of The Drew Barrymore Show will premiereon September 9.
Drew Barrymore Show gets new season greenlight
The CBS owned and operated stations will premiere the show for the 2025-2026 TV season. The announcement was made by Wendy McMahon, president and CEO of CBS News and Stations and CBS Media Ventures.
McMahon in a statement said, “Drew is a one-of-a-kind talent who is an integral part of the CBS and Paramount family. This early renewal and upgrades are a testament to our commitment to ‘The Drew Barrymore Show’ and its loyal audience, who tune in every day to see Drew’s warmth, inquisitiveness and spontaneity.”

The show has been renewed with a new format. The Drew Barrymore Show will be shot as two half-hour episodes that TV stationscould either run together back-to-back or be split apart to air separately.
