General Hospital actor Johnny Wactor shot and killed in suspected theft

In a shocking and tragic incident, TV soap opera actor Johnny Wactor, who was best known for his role as Brando Corbin on General Hospital, was killed in a suspected theft incident. The 37-year-old actor was shot and killed in Los Angeles, much to the dismay of his family and fans.

He was shot in the morning in downtown Los Angeles as he and one of his friends witnessed three people trying to steal his car's catalytic converter.

Even thoughJohnnydid not try to deter the theft, he was still shot by the assailants, according to the actor’s mother Scarlett Wactor. All three suspects fled from the scene after killing the actor.

No arrests have been made yet.

Wactor’s agent, David Shaul, said the actor was “a real moral example to everyone who knew him.” In a statement, he said,“In the highs and lows of a challenging profession he always kept his chin up and kept striving for the best he could be. Our time with Johnny was a privilege we would wish on everyone. He would literally give you the shirt off his back. After over a decade together, he will leave a hole in our hearts forever.”

Johnny was pronounced dead at the hospital at 3:00 am. He was taken to a local hospital after he was shot fatally.

Johnny Wactor was an established Hollywood actor. He was more known for his stint on TV, especially for his supernatural series like Siberia and Criminal Minds. He made his career in acting in 2007 with the TV show Army Wives. He went on to star in The Westworld, The OA, NCIS, Station 19, and Hollywood Girl, among others, but his most successful outing was on General Hospital. On the show, Johnny played the role of Brando Corbin, who was married to drug addict Sasha Corbin.He played the role from 2020 until his character was written off the programme in 2022.

Johnny leaves behind his mother and two younger siblings.
