Ahead of the retention deadline, KKR retained Sunil Narine, Andre Russell, Rinku Singh, Varun Chakaravarthy, Ramandeep Singh and Harshit Rana.

KKR retained Rinku for INR 13 crore (around $1.6 million) and&nbsp;spent INR 12 crore each (approximately $1.5 million) for Narine, Russell and Chakravarthy. The two uncapped players were paid INR 4 crore each (about $500,000). In total, KKR spent INR 57 crore (a bit above $7 million) out of their total purse of INR 120 crore ($15 million).
