In the second match against India, he looked good for 23 laced with five boundaries but the stay made no impact as the defending champions lost by six wickets.
"If you ask me about technique, I'll just say one thing to Babar Azam. Right now, his stance is wide," Gavaskar said while talking to former Pak cricketer Basit Ali on the video streaming platform YouTube.

Cummins now plans to make a comeback in IPL and play in the World Test Championship (WTC) Final in June against South Africa later this year.
"The ankle is all going strong, [have been] able to give it a good rest and then been building up slowly, which you don't get to do when you play lots of cricket," Cummins said in a conversation with cricket news website ESPNCricinfo.&nbsp;

It all began during the recent white-ball series in India, where his toe injury required stitches, for which he sat out of the final two ODIs. However, the latest reports have suggested that it has now worsened and may require further treatment. It has at least ruled him out of England&rsquo;s remaining two league matches&mdash;against Afghanistan (in Lahore) and South Africa (in Karachi) on Saturday.
"We will have to wait and see," Joe Root said in a chat with BBC Sport. "There is still a good way out from the game, to find exactly what is up with Carsey. We will see how things pan out over the next few days."
