MV Agusta unveils limited edition Superveloce 1000 Serie Oro

Italian motorcycle manufacturer MV Agusta has revealed the Superveloce 1000 Serie Oro, a limited edition model that combines advanced technology with retro-inspired design. Limited to just 500 numbered units, this exclusive motorcycle represents the pinnacle of MV Agusta's engineering and artistic prowess.

The Superveloce 1000 Serie Oro is powered by a four-cylinder inline engine producing an impressive 208 horsepower at 13,000 RPM and 116.5 Nm of torque at 11,000 RPM. The engine features 16 radial titanium valves, forged titanium connecting rods, and DLC-coated cams, allowing it to reach a maximum of 14,000 RPM while maintaining minimal vibration.

One of the most striking features of the Superveloce 1000 Serie Oro is its aerodynamic design. The motorcycle incorporates wings on the fairing, a concept inspired by MV Agusta's Grand Prix motorcycles from 1972. These wings not only enhance the bike's visual appeal but also contribute to its stability at high speeds without compromising manoeuvrability.

The bike's construction extensively uses carbon fibre, with 41 components made from this lightweight material. This includes the dashboard support, chain guard, and full fairing. The wheels pay homage to the iconic MV Agusta F4 750 Serie Oro, featuring a design that blends cast and spoke elements.

MV Agusta has equipped the Superveloce 1000 Serie Oro with top-tier electronics. The bike features the integrated MVICS 2.1 system for engine management, disengageable traction control with eight levels of intervention, and four riding modes. An electronic gearbox assists with both upshifting and downshifting, even with an open throttle.

The chassis consists of a trellis frame made from high-strength steel tubes, integrated with aluminium plates. The suspension system is equally impressive, featuring Öhlins electronic components. The front fork is 43mm in diameter with a 120mm travel, while the rear mono-shock has a 36mm diameter and 120mm travel. Both are electronically adjustable for various parameters.

Braking duties are handled by a Brembo system, with 320mm front discs and Stylema callipers. The ABS system offers two levels of intervention, catering to both street and track use.

MV Agusta has paid meticulous attention to the bike's aesthetics. The seat is crafted from leather and Alcantara, bearing the MV logo. A leather belt runs along the tank's length, and the rear wheel hub features a unique MV logo design. The colour scheme, consisting of Ago Silver, Pearl Shock Red, and Gold Ciclistica, pays tribute to MV Agusta's racing heritage.

Each Superveloce 1000 Serie Oro comes with a dedicated kit that includes a certificate of authenticity, a custom motorcycle cover, and additional components such as a passenger seat, footpegs, carbon heel guards, and CNC-machined levers.

The Superveloce 1000 Serie Oro also integrates modern connectivity features. It comes equipped with a GPS module that communicates with the MV Ride app, allowing for navigation display on the 5.5" TFT colour dashboard and data acquisition for post-ride analysis.

Pre-orders for the Superveloce 1000 Serie Oro were initially reserved for brand collectors, with remaining units to be made available through MV Agusta's official dealer network. Owners of this limited edition model will gain access to exclusive privileges and experiences typically reserved for collectors.
