The attempt by Keeler involved six iron discs – one weighing 10 kg, one weighing 20 kg, three weighing around 25 kg each, and one weighing slightly more than 26 kg. The discs were stacked together with a hook that was used by Keeler to complete the world record attempt.

"It's incredibly painful, but my fingers are strong, and I am proud of my lift," Keeler told the Guinness Book of World Records website. The website also said that Keeler is 48 years old and has been “practicing strength training for the last four years”. Keeler has been a practitioner of both judo and karate since he was 18 and that was a huge advantage for him while attempting the world record.

A man in his 20s was arrested outside the home of United States Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh in Maryland on Wednesday after the police found a handgun, knife and pepper spray in his possession. Upon questioning, the man admitted that he was there to kill Kavanaugh and according to Reuters, the authorities have confirmed that he is not from Maryland. According to the report, the man arrived near Kavanaugh’s house in a taxi but he was detained by the police outside the residence.

&nbsp;“At approximately 1:50 a.m. today, a man was arrested near Justice Kavanaugh’s residence. The man was armed and made threats against Justice Kavanaugh. He was transported to Montgomery County Police 2nd District,” the Supreme Court said in its official statement.

The houses of all the Supreme Court justices have been provided extra security since the protests surrounding the Roe v Wade judgement. With a leaked draft hinting that the rule on abortion rights can change in the United States, a lot of protests have taken place outside the judges’ residences.

The Department of Justice made it clear that the Marshals Service is providing “around-the-clock security” at the homes of all Supreme Court justices.&nbsp; A spokesman for the Marshal Service confirmed told CNBC that directives have not changed and the houses are under their protection.

According to the listing on the auction house’s site, the violin was made in 1679 and it went on to become the “blueprint” for the modern violin design that we are familiar with. The violin was created with proportions that were not quite common in that time period and that enabled it to create richer tones than its contemporaries.

The other special thing about the Stradivarius violin is the presence of precious gems on its body. When it comes to the Stradivarius, just 1100 of them exist in the world and among them, only 12 are known to have such gems adorned on them, according to the post on the Christie’s website.

The violin has a flower and vine design on the fiddle and about 500 ivory diamonds on its body.

According to the listing, this was one of the best inlaid violins made by Stradivari and after keeping it for 55 years, the legendary violinmaker decided to sell it to Samuel Hellier of Wombourne, England.

“Having handled countless Stradivaris, including some of the finest examples, this is without a doubt one of the most exciting, beautiful and impressive instruments in existence. This violin epitomizes, more than most, the vision of Stradivari’s ability to develop things forward; a reason why he deserves his place in the zenith as the unsurpassed violin maker of all time,” the statement from Christie’s London read.

The authorities have already faced a lot of criticism for their heavy-handed surveillance projects and this can also result into public uproar over government interference.

Dyson spheres are hypothetical constructions which exist around a star and the spheres, named after well-known physicist Freeman Dyson, take in a huge amount of the star’s power output.

According to the study, Freedom suggested that if alien life exists on a planet, they would prefer to create a Dyson sphere around their star than moving around in the universe. As a result, a study of the spheres can point towards the viability of alien life on a white dwarf (a small, dense star).

Two people were found dead after a shooting in a supermarket north of Frankfurt, authorities said Tuesday.

According to local police, gunfire was reported at the premises in Schwalmstadt at around 1 p.m. local time (1100 UTC).

"Based on consistent witness statements, a man first shot a woman in the grocery store and then apparently took his own life," a police statement said. "There are currently no indications of the involvement of third persons."

"The scene of the crime has been cordoned off over a wide area," police said.

Officials have launched a criminal investigation into the incident. Emergency services at the scene have also set up a support center for witnesses and those affected.

The “unburnable” copy will be one of its kind and it was tested by Atwood herself with an actual flamethrower. &nbsp;The novel, which speaks of a dystopian world order where women are subjugated, will be auctioned by Sotheby's New York on Wednesday with a high estimate of $100,000.
