<p>Flop was born in April this year and lost her mother. Just a few weeks after the hatching, she developed a limp and within 24 hours she lost her ability to walk or support her weight.&nbsp;</p>

<p>When she was taken to the vet, a blood test revealed it was because of a reaction and infection. She was given medical treatment. But soon after, her health started declining and she lost her appetite. Staff at the Black Country Zoo were scared for her life and in a desperate attempt to save her, they started using the penguin equivalent of a baby bouncer. They handmade that for Flop.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The staff even constructed a unique treadmill for her and adapted a baby alter as well to help her learn to walk and support her weight.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The vendor who sold the banana that was auctioned off as part of the viral artwork of the fruit duct-taped to a wall is now in utter shock. The strange art piece by Italian artist Maurizio Cattelan titled “Comedian", was sold by Sotheby’s for a whopping $6.2 million. The New York Times reported that the banana was sold by Shah Alam, a 74-year-old fruit seller.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Alam works outside Sotheby’s on the Upper East Side for $12 an hour, the Times reported. He was not aware that a piece of fruit he sold for 35 cents was sold for millions of dollars. When a reporter later told him what had happened to the banana, Alam burst into tears.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The satirical conceptual piece first debuted at Art Basel Miami Beach in 2019. It offers a commentary on how ridiculous the art world is where the meaning of a piece is tied to the money it attracts. Sotheby’s sold the banana artwork earlier this month to Justin Sun, the Chinese founder of a cryptocurrency platform, as per NYT.</p>

<p>The bid started at $800,000 and it was sold off within five minutes for $5.2 million plus over $1 million in auction-house fees. The piece requires the banana to be refreshed once or twice a week.</p>

<p>Alam, a nearly blind Bangladeshi immigrant, is shattered to learn about the fate of the banana. His story is now&nbsp;attracting several well-known figures who have come forward to help him.</p>

<p>A journalist, Dong Yuyu, was jailed for seven years on Friday (Nov 29) for espionage, his family confirmed to BBC. The 62-year-old former state media journalist from China was detained in 2022 and was reportedly active in the journalism sector of the US and Japan and also used to regularly meet foreign diplomats.&nbsp;</p>

<p>He was arrested when he was having lunch with a Japanese diplomat in Beijing in February 2022.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The diplomat was also arrested at that time but later&nbsp;released after the Japanese government protested the arrest.&nbsp;</p>

<p>During his arrest, Yuyu was serving as the senior staff member of the Guangming Daily. It is one of the five major newspapers linked to the ruling Communist Party in the country.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Yuyu's family said in a statement to BBC that according to a court judgement, two other Japanese diplomats Dong met with were named as "agents of an espionage organisation", which is the Japanese embassy.</p>

<p>On Nov 19, 2022, asteroid 2022 WJ1 entered the Earth's atmosphere and violently broke apart due to intense friction from the air. This led to a bright flash of green light streaking in the night sky for about 10 seconds. It was accompanied by a loud sonic boom and could be seen many kilometres away.</p>

<p>The explosion was reported in southern Ontario but was watched by people even in the Toronto area and in the states of New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Maryland, as per a New York Times report.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The asteroid was spotted merely three hours before entering Earth by the Catalina Sky Survey in Arizona. In order to learn where it might hit, the team ran tests and was able to correctly predict the location.&nbsp;</p>

<p>It was also an opportunity to study the space rock and so they quickly enabled the equipment along the asteroid's path.</p>

<p>Asteroids smaller than 2022 WJ1 hit Earth almost every day. However, they have never been measured because the scientists never see them coming. In the case of 2022 WJ1, they were prepared because they spotted it a few hours before impact.</p>

<p>In some cases, these procedures were conducted by device sales representatives or physician's assistants who&nbsp;used to take care of the placement of devices. Patients alleged that the devices fell off over days because of weak adhesive.&nbsp;</p>

<p>“A neurosurgeon, like Bindal, should know when he is and is not performing surgery,” Hamdani said in the press release.&nbsp;</p>
