As Hurricane Milton smothers Florida with wild winds and devastating rains, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) captured the hurricane's scary landfall in the state through one of its satellites.
The video of the hurricane's landfall and the spreading storm in Florida was shared by the NOAA.
In the video, the intense lightning in the storm from space was also captured.

Flordia has been battling the hurricane since its landfall on October 10. According to reports, the category 5 hurricane struck the west coast at around 6 am IST.
Warnings regarding flash floods were issued by the National Hurricane Center (NHC), and the residents in areas like Tampa, Saint Petersburg, and Clearwater were asked to take shelter amid 'extremely dangerous' winds.
The NHC, citing the radar data, stated that Hurricane Milton had formed in the Gulf Of Mexico and had made landfall close to Siesta Key in Sarasota County on the western coast. It added that the winds were flowing at a speed of up to 193 km per hour.
As reported by The Guardian, the hurricane left more than two million homes and businesses without power.
The winds also reached the east coast of Florida and led to a delay in the launch ofthe Europa Clipper mission.

The NHC stated that a wind gust of 108 km per hour was reported from the NASA weather station in Cape Canaveral.
The visuals of Hurricane Milton from Florida were shared on social media, which showed houses without roofs and uprooted trees.
