Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong will hold separate meetings with US President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un ahead of the historic summit due on June 12, reports said on Saturday.
Loong will be meeting Kim on June 10 and then meet Trump on the next day (June 11), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs was quoted saying in reports.
Both leaders are expected to arrive in Singapore on Sunday for the summit. As per reports, Trump will be staying at the Shangri-La Hotel, while Kim will be residing at The St Regis.
Trump, who was in Canada for the G-7 summit, tweeted at 4.58am (Singapore time) that he is on his way here, where "we have a chance to achieve a truly wonderful result for North Korea and the world".
He added: "I look forward to meeting him and have a feeling that this one-time opportunity will not be wasted!"
The US president also said he would know “within minutes” if Kim was serious about giving up his nuclear weapons.

Trump said he was looking forward to meeting Kim and added that the summit would be good for both the world peace and dictatorship.
"I am on my way to Singapore where we have a chance to achieve a truly wonderful result for North Korea and the World. It will certainly be an exciting day and I know that Kim Jong-un will work very hard to do something that has rarely been done before... Create peace and great prosperity for his land. I look forward to meeting him and have a feeling that this one-time opportunity will not be wasted!," Trump tweeted.
On Saturday, Singapore’s Foreign Minister Vivian Balakrishnan, who had just returned from a lightning visit to Pyongyang, was also asked about the cost of hosting the summit. While he did not have specific figures, he confirmed that Singapore was extending hospitality to the North Koreans – as it would for any state visit – but they would have to foot some of their own costs.
