Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has been accused of failing miserably as the countrygrapples with the consequences of the war in the Gaza Strip.Knesset member Gadi Eisenko said that Netanyahufailed miserably on security and economy fronts and that there must be elections before the end of this year.

In Hong Kong, a courtconvicted 14 pro-democracy activists in the biggest national security case under a law imposed by China. Those convicted includeinclude formerlawmakers Leung Kwok-hung, Lam Cheuk-ting, Helena Wong and Raymond Chan. They could face life in prison.

France and Germany have said that Ukraine should be permitted to use their weaponry against targets inside Russia from which Moscow attacks Ukraine. While addressing the media, alongside German Chancellor Olaf Scholz on Tuesday (May 28), French President Emmanuel Macron outlined that French weapons supplied to Ukraine, including long-range missiles, were permitted to strike targets within Russia.

American Airlines has been accused of forcing three Black men to deboard a flight following a complaint that an unidentified passenger had body odour, according to a lawsuit.The lawsuit was filed on Wednesday (May 29) by Alvin Jackson, Emmanuel Jean Joseph and Xavier Veal in the US district court for the eastern district of New York against the airline.
