World Business Watch: Job cuts to exceed 18,000 roles; earlier target was 10,000
As a part of the workforce reduction program, the CEO of Amazon Andy Jassy said that the company's layoffs will now stretch to more than 18,000 roles. The layoff decisions which Amazon will communicate starting from January 18th will largely impact the company's e-commerce and human resources.
