WION Podcast: US Embassy Spox Christopher Elms Talks About Indo-US Ties | Exclusive

US embassy spokesperson Christopher Elms has highlighted growing Indo US ties, importance of Quad, strong people to people linkages in WION Podcast. This was the first edition of WION Podcast, which brings speakers from diverse domains to have free and frank conversation on several subjects. Speaking to WION's Siddhant Sibbal, Chris emphasised on growing practical cooperation when it comes to QUAD grouping. The US hosted the summit in Delaware in which Indian PM Modi participated. The leaders announced several initiatives, including the introduction of the Maritime Initiative for Training in the Indo-Pacific (MAITRI). The summit included what has been described as the "strongest-ever language" on China and North Korea. The US embassy spox detailed the people to people ties between the 2 countries. The US hosts a large number of members of the Indian diaspora. As of recent estimates, there are over 4 million people of Indian origin in the United States, making it one of the largest Indian diaspora communities outside of Asia. They are known for their high levels of education and professional success, with a significant presence in tech, academia, and healthcare.
