Iran says more than 1,300 people have been killed since the start of U.S. and Israeli strikes on the country, according to statements made by Iran’s ambassador to the United Nations. Tehran also claims thousands of civilian sites have been hit during the ongoing conflict.
Meanwhile, a social media video posted by the White House titled “Justice the American Way” has drawn criticism from celebrities and commentators. The montage mixes real footage of U.S. strikes with clips from Hollywood films, television shows and video games.
Actor Ben Stiller and others criticised the post, saying war should not be presented like entertainment and objecting to the use of their work without permission.
