The first round of Iran-US talks in Switzerland has ended with signs of progress, according to U.S. Vice President JD Vance. He said discussions covered nuclear inspections, regional security and efforts to maintain stability in key flashpoints across the Middle East. Vance suggested nuclear inspectors could visit Iran as early as this week, while technical teams remain engaged in follow-up negotiations. Although major differences remain, both sides appear willing to keep diplomatic channels open and continue talks in the coming days and weeks.
