Unitree's Robot dogs drew on US military-funded research: Report
A new Reuters investigation reveals that China's Unitree Robotics, now a global leader in robot dogs and humanoids, built its most successful designs on innovations originally funded by the US military. Unitree's $1,600 Go2 model reportedly matches, almost to the millimetre, a robot called Mini Cheetah developed under the US Army's DEVCOM Army Research Laboratory program
