United States approves $120 million for Taiwan warships

The United States has approved the sale of ship parts to Taiwan worth 120 million dollars, the step comes amid rising threats of a Chinese invasion of the island of Taiwan. The country's defense ministry says that the step could ensure combat readiness in the face of China's frequent activities near the island.
