Union Budget 2023: Major relief for Income tax payers

India's Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented the Union Budget for fiscal year 2023-24 in the Parliament on February 1. And in a major relief for the middle class, an Income tax rebate was extended on income up to Rs 7 lakhs under the new tax regime.
