In 2022 the then-UK prime minister Boris Johnson promised a trade deal with India since Johnson has left and 2 years have passed but the trade deal is nowhere to be seen. So we asked the UK's minister of state for South Asia about where the negotiations stand he confirmed to our senior correspondent Sidharth MP that the talks are progressing well and could be inked very soon.
