UK: East food vendors worried over ban on single-use plastics

According to Thérèse Coffey, the environment secretary, a number of single-use plastics that are harmful to the environment will be prohibited in England. Single-use plastic plates, trays, bowls, cutlery, balloon sticks, and specific kinds of polystyrene cups and food containers will all be prohibited. The implementation of this restriction will begin in October 2023, giving businesses time to get ready.
