Typhoon Talim has now made landfall in Zhanjiang on the South China Coastline with fierce winds and heavy rains lashing the area. China's weather Department there has said that the typhoon is expected to increase in intensity to become severe as it makes landfall. The advisory earlier prompted authorities to issue flood warnings, cancel flights and trains and request other people to stay at home.
