US President Donald Trump is pushing ahead with his ambitious “Golden Dome” defense system, a massive advanced shield project expected to cost around $1.2 trillion. Trump has reportedly set a 2029 deadline for the system to become fully operational, while Congress has so far approved $24 billion for the initiative.
