Syrian Interim President Sharaa says Syria is holding talks with Israel to end hostilities

Syria has officially confirmed it is holding indirect talks with Israel through a mediator in an effort to de-escalate regional tensions. French President Emmanuel Macron hosted Syrian President Ahmed Al-Sharaa in Paris, calling for diplomacy over military action. Macron also criticized Israeli airstrikes, stating they don’t guarantee long-term security.
