Softbank sells 4.5% stake in Paytm, to slow down investments as valuation drops

The latest sell-off in a string of divestments made by startups focused Softbank, has come from India. Japan's investment bank has sold 4.5% stake in Indian digital payment giant Paytm, for block deals for $200 million. The shares of Paytm owned by billionaire Vijay Shekhar Sharma fell more than 9% on the news of the trade.
