Sectarian clashes in Syria leave at least 99 dead and scores injured; security forces deployed

Deadly violence has erupted in southern Syria, where ongoing clashes between Bedouin tribes and Druze fighters in the city of Sweida have claimed 99 lives — 27 of them Druze, including two children, and 10 Bedouins. Over 50 people have been injured.
