Over 2,000 academics from 81 nations and a wide range of fields have signed a letter to governments gathered at the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) on Tuesday, calling for a Fossil Fuel Non-Proliferation Treaty to manage a worldwide phase-out of coal, oil, and gas.
