Russian navy divers set record with 416 metre dive

Russian navy divers practised submarine rescue operations in the Sea of Japan at a record-breaking depth of 416 metres. The crew spent three days on preparations and then used a submersible vessel to get to the sea floor from the board of Igor Belousov rescue ship. The crew left the capsule, inspected the bottom, practised rescue activities and unfolded the national flag.
