Poland signs major deal for three A26 stealth submarines

Poland has signed a major defense agreement with Saab for the purchase of three advanced A26 stealth submarines. The vessels are expected to be delivered between 2030 and 2038 and will significantly strengthen Poland’s naval capabilities in the Baltic Sea. Officials say the deal will enhance maritime security, improve surveillance and deterrence capabilities, and contribute to NATO’s collective defense posture in the region.
