For patients in the critical care unit of Chile's San Borja Arriaran Hospital, recovery means long and lonely days in quarantine, cut off from contact with friends and family due to the coronavirus pandemic. But one critical care nurse is bringing tears of joy and moments of happiness to some of those patients through a pen pal letter writing program she started for them.
