North Korea Is Equipping Its Navy With Nuclear Weapons

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has announced plans to build a nuclear-armed navy and develop large 10,000-tonne class warships, according to state media.
The announcement was made during the commissioning of a new destroyer, as Pyongyang accelerates its military expansion despite long-standing international sanctions over its nuclear weapons programme.
Officials say the move is part of a broader strategy to enhance naval capability and operational readiness, further escalating concerns in the region over military balance and security tensions.
