A powerful 7.7-magnitude earthquake jolted Myanmar and Thailand on Friday, with tremors felt across China, India and Bangladesh. In Myanmar, disaster response has been hindered by ill-equipped local infrastructure to deal with major natural disasters. In Thailand, it is a race against time to rescue over 80 people stuck under the debris of a collapsed building.
